@YTisMyPlaylist I heard of some of those bands..I am not a fan of black nor death metal...And I'm not a lover of power metal too much..unless there are more vocalists or a choir,or some really mythical feel to it and diversion in it's sound(A nice example is Falconer)

I like stuff that is mostly Heavy Metal...For example I have found 2 heavy metal bands ,that are very underrated yet fer pure:

The names of the bands are CAGE NO1 and Iron Fate NO 2.And some songs NO1-Hell Destroyer NO2-Iron Fate

@jerhinus Yeah, Mercyful Fate, Bathory, Venom and perhaps even King Diamond are some of the bands that inspired most of the second wave black metal...

Bathory is really blackened thrash but is considered first wave black...well, maybe thats what 1st wave was...

I dont really like power metal, its too clean for me (Dark Moor and Sabaton are good bands tho), i prefer dark, fast and heavy music so i listen to mostly death/black/thrash

But who cant love old school heavy metal like this? :P

King Diamond satanic? No. King Diamond is agnostic, although his previous band, Merciful Fate often did have Satanic lyrics. But, King Diamond's style is more of a Horror fiction, often dealing with ghosts, rebirth and what have you.

this is the album that got me into becoming a ''king diamond'' fan for good. i also developed singing his style. i do not recommend anyone singing like this without vocal training or not being a gifted singer. every singer out there is different. i believe that king diamond and rob halford are quite similar, but, my vote goes to king diamond!
