When do you deploy your flares? Before you go into your dive, or when you get pinged? I am able to provide decent CAS, but the flares just seem like they don't do much. It seems there is a perfect time to hit them, and I don't know when it is. I was taught to deploy flares when engaging enemy targets in a dive before lock. That why they are already distracting missiles. This is the last aspect I'm trying to get down. Nice Video man.

For about 2 years i played Project Reality as a pilot and after 0.5(since nose cam was taken out) i got to see less and less of my contribution to the team. The last time i saw something was holding off an armored column in 0.6 Beta with the SU25, after that with so few people spotting and lazing it stopped being fun.

But thank you for letting me see what it looked like from the ground

the sensitivity for the planes is too low is there anyway to increase the sensitivity. I use a thrustmaster hotas x for the game

@osakar Not really, all targets engaged have been targeted, communicated and lazed by friendly s on the ground. Its all about teamwork.

@gazzthompson In the latest version you can have the commander spotting and lazing with the UAV. An apache was all over the map, always knowing when it was safe and where armor was. Might as well make the rockets realistic and fire and forget, just as bad.

the "GPS guided bomb" can also be used with lases using the same method.

you know what... GAU-8 should not be used to Air-to-Air combat, they carry AT Rounds

a 30 mm is going to fuck any plane up, HEAT or AT.... and it was the enemy CAS aircraft which has same sort of performance as A-10 so thats why i engaged it, rather than run like i did with enemy MIG

64 and 32 both have same ground assets, just 64 has 2 jets (CAS and fighter) and 32 has 2 attack choppers.
