  • ive lost 3 stone in 3 months with curves

  • im a manager of a Curves and i can proudly say we have some amazing stories. it really does work, it's a proven system!

  • isnt the circut bad tho because it never allows your muscels to really rest? im sure that it would be good for an athlete because it should help build endurance, but 30 seconds on a recovery pad isnt enough for the muscel fiber to rest.....if pushed to much, wont the body either 1. get use to the equipment because thats what our muscles do, or 2.some one will end up getting hurt?

  • I joined curves 3 weeks ago and have lonst 3.7kg (8 pounds) and 16cm (6.5inches) only 15kg (33pound) to go, best gym I have ever been too - so friendly!

  • we dont have these in the UK..

  • They already have a second generation out. Apparently, the swipe didn't work, so now there's a slot for your card.

  • Yes! We've got slots for your tag - it helps them read more accurately.

  • curves is the best gym i've ever been to.

they keep u going by making u switch to the next machine every 2 minutes and its awesome!!! i lost 30 pounds in 1 1/2 months with it but i stopped going and gained it back. im going to restart!

  • Curves was one of the worst jobs I've ever had. Not to mention that I did everything but wipe all my members asses to help keep them motivated but it never worked. I think I had the laziest group of members ever!

  • thats called a job! u complain about it. wat did u expect? to sit back and enjoy it the whole time? its called a job for a reason, quit complaining!

  • listen, I managed one for 2 1/2 years single handedly with over 300 members, so I knew very well what my job was, and until you sit behind that desk, you will NEVER know the kind of people that walk thru that door. I knew everybody by their first and last name even the cars they drove and their license plates! And when you know their life stories like I did, you'll start to think, ok, that's not what I am being paid to do. I am here to help them lose weight, not be their psychiatrist.

  • ya i understand what u mean but ur job is to help them lose right?

well look at it this way....if your a cashier, and someone strikes up a conversation with you while your checking out their food, do you tell them "im here to ring your items up and send you about your day, not to talk to you"

all i am saying is...when it comes to losing weight SOME people need a little push.
