Love the direction of this video; so simple and sexy, compared to the woefully awful video for "Beat of a Heart". I LOVE that song, too, and was totally disappointed by the video. Anyway, great, underrated song here, by an often-overlooked artist/singer in Patty Smythe. Thank God for YouTube!

I could never understand why Patty never got more acclaim she had an incredible voice and a very good look kind of a cute but very sure of her musical vocal capabilities and personal presence either in front of a camera or on stage. Artists like this deserve much better.

Scandall with this song Hands Tied, and a few other of their songs like The Warrior were a mainstay on MTV in the early 80s, back in an long gone era, when 80s rock was by far hard to beat.

Most stuff now cant compare, as MTV was good back then 80s rock is hard to beat

Oh gosh people!!! I totally agree with everyones comments here. I am 48 and the 80's were so freakin' awesome. The times, the music. I, too, used to sit and watch MTV when it was MTV, for hours upon hours. I would give anything to go back and relive the 80's decade. Parties, girls, music, AND some good cold brew!!
