  • how can you have Spectrum and that bloody Amiga on one table...

  • that's cool as shit ! I wonder if you could do the same thing with commodore 64. You could save every game file you have on an mp3 player. Awesome idea man !

  • @wingnut4427

You can do the same with the C64.

Even with Adio CDs instead of mp3, it would work.

You can record yoru audio to anything (CD, Mp3, vinyl record, VHS, DVD), all you need to do is to play it back and the game will play.

It will work with ANY computer system that uses tapes.

  • @MiracleKD18 cool :D Learn something new every day. Thanks for the info :)

  • How make turbo mode in mp3 format ? thanks for answer

  • Ok can you use the sound/tape socket to hook up mp3 player on spectrum +2A which is basically a +3 with a tape deck not disk drive, anyone know?

  • Years ago I sussed out how to get games files onto an audio cd and have them load correctly as if they were coming from a tape deck. Ive never thought of using an mp3 player! I will have to try this soon.

  • Nice. Imagine taking that back in time to the 80s.. Kids would shit a brick over it! ha ha!

  • the program is the k7zx,yes.

  • It's a program done by decicoder which can also be used for other 8-bit machines, including the zx81. Google k7zx. He also created a program called zinetrix which can be used to play digitized video from a regular audio source (for eg. tape).
