"Spring clean for the May Queen",is a referance to the Pagan Spring holiday of Estrose(I'm sure I butchered that word). "Your stairway lies on the whispering wind". The stairway is NOT a material thing.I had to edit,but you could study this all your life and still have stuff to learn about the lyrics/album covers. It's called "Classic Rock" for a reason.

Almost everyone will think something different. It just proves the power lyrics to this song and to all of music can contain.
