just back 4 another listen. the stereo thing, basically u upload ur 98 mb .avi or .mpg or whatever and youtube takes it, rapes it, pulls it's hair and turns it into a 5.3 mb .flv file with mono sound. we found that by uploading .flv files youtube servers say "Gee, this thing ready to go !!" and upload them just the way they are, with the stereo sound.
we thought it was because we lowered the combined bitrate; audio+video under 350 or there abouts. then we started seeing videos in 1000 kb/s video and 128 kb/s audio in stereo ! So now I think it's about file size, but I can't gaurantee it. I reccomend your next vid use 128 kb/s audio 44100 mhz stereo for sound, and use 25 fps audio and as high of kb/s resolution as you can go keeping it under 19 mb .flv file. should upload in stereo sound. peace
