I believe that the environment played a big role in why he did what he did because the way he was raised his parents and him didn't have a good relationship at all. It was mentioned that he was happier when he was with his friends even though he didn't have many.
Also, he had a girlfriend for awhile and then they broke up and since then that's when he started to act crazy.
I believe that there's a theory in environment and population because it has an affect on a person mentally.

sef88401 - NO ONE is against "HEALTH CARE". I think you mean Obama & the Dems health care overhaul BILL, right? Liberals use such tactically used terms.
Many pick up on that & it makes it seem like those who are against OBAMA & DEM's HC BILL are "against health care".

Jared Lee Loughner ADMITS that he was involved with the RIGHT WING PAC Freedom's Defense Fund and had ATTENDED and FOLLOWED Tea Party events and politics.
As a result, the FBI has launched an ancillary investigation of Arizona Tea Party activities.
