cool..not all days but mostly i can hit the high notes of circa survive/saosin songs without distorting my voice more than its required and not sounding chicken after a good warm up...lol..but my basic problem is i lack melody in my voice..ive recently started singing and im not taking classes from anyone..i can understand that im improving too..so what do you suggest..

if you're trying to improve the melodic character of your voice I would suggest singing songs that are more squarely within your range. I'd suggest songs by Soundgarden or Radiohead. those can be pretty high but not as high as circa/saosin songs, and they can help you develop melody while also helping to strengthen the upper part of your range.

really nice job...i don't know how much you sing or how much you practice but this is not at all a bad attempt. you voice is pretty good...it really does sound similar to anthony green's. with practice you would make a really great lead singer in a band.
