I love this song and the choir sings it well, but I hate when my black people get all excited and loud I cant hear the vocalist or the message and the Holy Spirit cant do its job because all the applause and hoop la is praising the vocalist and not Jesus. You have to be careful of that.

Why is it BLACK PEOPLE & Why cant people express how themselves when the spirit moves? Why must they be silent? The holy spirit is gonna work whether anything is gonna be sung, said, or heard. U shouldnt let trivial things prevent you from lettin the spirit move. If the Holy Spirit is there, its gonna move whether u miss a part or hear the whole thing.

@songofpraise88 The Church of God must stop reducing the Holy Spirit to some "good" feeling we get when we hear our song at Church. The Holy Spirit came so that we might be anointed to preach the Gospel, heal the sick, mend the brokenhearted, set the captives free and proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. After all the jumping and shouting, if thats not what we are accomplishing as the Body of Christ, then the Holy Spirit has nothing to do with it and is, in reality, very far from us.

What you said makes sense, but

1) you are in no place to judge that the applause was not praising Jesus. I feel in my spirit that many of those applausing was giving glory to God & there was excitement because of His presence. Of course there was also excitment at the performance, and that is a very good thing

2.) You have to realize that the person taking the video is seated in the audience and so the hooping and hollaring would sound a lot louder and more instrusive than it actually was

@vocalpoliticalpoet baby the Holy Spirit will do its job regardless!!! Yes you do have to be careful of praising the vocalist rather than Jesus, but the Holy Spirit will still move through the the vocalist or that one sincere person in the midst!!!

WOW! This is too much talent! This choir is toooo goood, LORD! Hey, Kahli can definitely sang soprano! She's got range and she can sang! Jeneal is definitely crazy Jazzy (those runs!) but I feel sorry for the sopranos under her. They could be working themselves to the grave on some high notes and she would think they were chilling with it like she would be doing. To her it will be like alto. Her range is too much. I guess she made Kahli run away to the alto section LOL. Oh, this was GOOD

Greetings! I am a HU alum (1984). I just happened to stumble across this video clip. Glad to see the choir is alive and well at Howard!!! And to all, NEVER give up on your dreams! You can still attend Howard...you can reinvent yourself several times over in this life! Life is an incredible journey. Find your calling and keep on keeping on. My grandparents are in their 80's and still attend classes to learn...it keeps them young and alive and joyful. Be blessd!!!

Who ever these two women are they are beast behind the mic and the HU choir is a blessing this song really ministered to my spirit.
