  • That's impressive, mate! Well done

  • Fuark, even the BTN jerk of 190kg is impressive, then a deep overhead squat. Very impressive

  • the last part scared me bro :O

  • holy shit! and he's not even that big! my wrists hurt just from watching.

  • good way to mess your back and shoulders up

  • @beefycol did your personal trainer tell you that?

  • @PWDr93 Do I look like I have a personal trainier. Im a bodybuilder and part of the idea of bodybuilding is getting as big as possible with out risking injury. Ive never seen any pro do this you can actually build muscle much saver than this.

  • @beefycol Ok you're a bodybuilder so obviously you have no idea of the mechanics behind olympic lifts. Weightlifters don't train to put on muscle and look good, they train for the same reason as every other athlete, to get better at the SPORT.

  • @beefycol bodybuilders dont risk injury?.. i guess all the steroids messed with your head

  • dude

  • this is intense. I've only btn jerked 375 once in my life and did not even think of doing anything with it, let alone overhead squat it.

  • 1. Ben is NOT on steroids 2. There is NOTHING wrong with the technique of a man who OHS 190Kgs 3. If you are going to claim to be an OLY lifting expert, please include the Chinese in your list of worlds best lifters.

  • hilarious music

  • beast

  • faggot

    bad technique

dont put on so much weight if u cant squat that with proper technique

  • @123halloballo123 You are a meaningless little turd....... And if not prove it and post something...................

  • just WOW!!!

how much do you can snatch + clean & jerk??

  • Your overhead videos are awesome!

  • is this real life?

  • true strenght !

  • don t fucking teach me man what to do ive been in this oly weightlifting business for years, all pro athlets r on steroids. Another thing is if uvent taken steroid ur just a exception. im coming from the macca of oly weightlifting, russia and if we look at the whole world best oly weightlifters r from turkey, russia , greece, bulgaria, poland, germany,,, how many americans won the olympic games?

  • @teed1 you have some seriously sweet lifting videos dude.... OH WAIT!!

  • @MultiTrollHunter no cunt iven t got any video but it doesn t mean i know fuck all about oly weightlifting by the way if ur that good i like to watch both of u in the next year in 2012 LONDON olympic games, deal?

  • @teed1 ok deal... We can shake hands on it when we meet in hell you fucking moron.

  • @MultiTrollHunter fuck UUUU keyboard hero u only talk in front of the pc like a chicken shit ur not more than it if u didn t like what i said was at least SHUT THE FUCK UP

  • @teed1 Even if you do know anything about lifting, you still don't know how to string a sentence together, so either way you loose.

  • @dar1e08 don t talk rubbish, u can critise me when u talk any other second laungage

  • @teed1 lol excluding the Chinese. Many pro lifters have taken drugs, but this lifter said his best snatch (the lift they actually do) is only 140kg, significantly less than Olympic competitors in most weight classes. Being able to OHS 190kg when you can BS 230kg (which is very good, but not ridiculous that steroids should be considered) demonstrates he has very good balance and a strong core, not that he's on drugs.

He's very strong, but no way in hell is it impossible to do naturally.

  • @EndlersaurusRex after he explained he wasn t on drug i didn t insist saying he was!!! but some of the racist people here turned against me cos im russain!! everybody knows the fame of russain athlets on olympic games, as i said before he might be exceptional person on his strength cos i don t think not many people can succeed what he can..

  • @teed1 Many people do not attempt to do this lift, left alone a proper squat.

  • FYI I have a new channel, alongthelinesof.

  • nice lift - super strong - what's with these uber fat plates in the US?

  • Omg that was retarded strength, keep it up dude, I hope to be at least somewhere as strong as you are one day.

  • that weight could have broken my body in half, shit man your strong!

  • Very impressive!

  • omfg, this is fucking insane

  • @koenbp cause some people don't like letting their balls rot

  • I had to put on my monocle to watch this video

    ┌─┐

    ┴─┴

    ಠ_ರೃ

  • Bach is a bit different and refreshing music choice for weghlifting video.. Well elite feat added to elite music is'n bad afterall!!

  • this is a very difficult feat of strength...believe me not many people can do this at his weight which appears to be 190-210 or something in that neighborhood

  • Dude...VERY impressive!

  • Great strength!

  • I have really tight shoulders which prevents me from jerking heavy weight from my back into the overhead position..any advice?

  • @GabeHall56 I have really tight shoulders as well which really hurts my rack position on cleans and front squats. I should be posting some videos of warm ups/stretches soon on my website. If your problem is specifically on your overhead position, i would suggest the PVC pipe stretch where you rotate from in front to behind you (get more information on this before you try it). I have no background information other than what you gave me, so I would suggest talking to a USAW coach in person.

  • WOW

  • whats your training routine like?

  • @DeFabTennis Mon:Bi's. Weds: Tri's. Fri: Bi's and Tri's.

  • @BigMuscleMilk

how often do you work legs? 3 x a week?

  • @BigMuscleMilk this is my fav ever youtube comment hahahaahaha

  • @MultiTrollHunter what a fucking comment

  • are you joking

  • What's your snatch bro? The overhead squat is portion of the full snatch is my weakest point of the snatch (solid pull bad finish), do you have any other recommendations other than over head squats and drop snatches for that portion of the lift.

  • @philt4141 Best snatch in comp is 140. Hit 145 w straps in training last summer. Honestly, in my opinion the best exercise for developing comfort with the snatch is doing more snatches. I mostly would do a lot of overhead squats because it was fun and I was good at them. Drop snatches definitely have better carryover. Have you tried doing some muscle snatches or (behind the neck) snatch grip push press? Good for adding a little variety if you're bored.

  • oh ya great music too.

  • pretty sure i just shit my pants, that is insane lifting.. absolutely ridiculous

  • You're one strong mother fucker. Congratulations!

  • that was fukin sweet

  • im sure ur on steroid otherwise itsn t easly possible

  • @teed1 Nope. I would suggest that you get off youtube and go try something difficult. Get decently good at it, then upload it to youtube. Then watch as naysayers like yourself dismiss what you do as cheating. This is the one and only negative comment that I will reply to so congratulations, someone took notice of you today.

  • @teed1 Just when i thought people would stop posting comments like that out of moral convenience and douchebaggery...come on man. You apparently have no idea where dedication and perseverance will take you when combined with consistent training. Never underestimate it.

  • im speechless man...incredible explosive strength im jealous dude but you reap what you sow keep it up

  • thats incredible. i bust a nut just getting one plate up.

  • Man , overimpressive ...

How long have you been practicing overhead heavy squats ( triples and/or singles ..?) ???

Btw what are your height / age ???

And what are your front and back squat PR's ???

Keep up the good work , cheers from France

  • @Miiiiiiighty 5'10, 23, I've been lifting for 6 years, I used to do a lot of overhead squats for triples. I don't really do them that often anymore. FS 200, BS 230.

  • bro, just found your vids.....ive got alot of time for the use of classical music during your vids! Im compiling some training clips myself atm, hope you dont mind if I use a similar vibe (music wise)...although I was thinking Canon in D minor! Anways....great lifting, keep it up!

  • strong overhead squats + bach = instant win

  • VERY strong!!!

  • Beast!!!! And nice soundtrack. Keep up the good work!

  • having tried overhead squats from time to time, this is amazing. all the haters and doubters, just try an overhead squat sometime, otherwise keep your pie holes shut.

  • That is very impressive, awesome job! Looked very solid, you could probably get more too.

  • The average person has absolutely no fucking idea how impressive this is. Most dudes who bench 5 plates probably couldn't even support this overhead, and they wouldn't be close to doing a full squat in that position. That was fantastic. What do you snatch btw?

  • Great job man!!! That's some awesome shoulder stabilization and flexibility with that much weight! Keep up the good work!

  • Jesus man...that was sick...How much do you weigh? That was insane bro

  • @666muaythai thanks bro. I compete at 105kgs.

  • I'd like to thank everyone for all of the positive comments. It really helps motivate me when I'm not feeling all that strong, or my body is hurting, or my mind getting tired from always training alone. I'm doing my best to get stronger and represent my sport well. I'd like to note that I have NOT overhead squatted since I filmed this video, but the confidence that I feel when the bar is secured overhead has transfered to some snatch PRs.

  • @BigMuscleMilk And I would just like to say that it was one of the most impressive lifts I have ever seen. I can barely OHS 30kgs cause I never practice but I'm thinking I should start increasing the load because of your lift. Really really well done, keep up the hard work, I know how hard it can be training alone.

  • @BigMuscleMilk Can I ask what the numbers behind those PR's are?

  • wow, that's all I can say.

  • AMAZING! Absolutely incredible. Thank you for not posting some obnoxious heavy metal music. Classical music is perfect.

  • @captainjosue Thanks man. I actually chose this music to cover up the obnoxious amount of shouting that I did during that rep.

  • Probably the most impressive video I've seen on youtube

  • Insane strong dude!

  • always classy music. hahahaha

  • just being able to jerk that much weight is impressive!

    Nice Lift!

  • OOOOOHH

  • Fuck yeah

  • Awesome.

  • T.H.U.G

  • Phenomenal

  • I almost puked. Holy shit, great lift!

  • -what-

    awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

  • your quads must be monstrous

  • That. Was. Badass.

  • real strong stuff well done. got my 20 reps with 180 up if your interested mate

  • Dammm, but fuuuck that.. I can see my shoulders being blown off.

  • You're a fucking beast.

  • sick, that's incredibly impressive!

  • one of the most impressive videos on youtube! keep it up!

  • dont worry about it, this is unbelievable and I am also having the same problem!

  • Holy crap... that is rediculous. Props man.

  • you're strong as hell

  • WOW.......that is awesome!

  • That was crazy!

  • That was sweet man.

  • Lol. I struggle like this with 70 kg on overhead squat. Lol. Very impressive.
