U dont think its race thats the main driving force here...i suggest u go to other guinness estates in london at look at how they are maintained...the brixton estate was run into the ground...either it was purpose or accident. no other guinness estates look like that. 95% blacks on the brixton estate ... ethnic cleansing!

I live in the guiness trust i am only 17 but i care alot about this issue instead of fixing the moldy, over crowded flats they wanna push us out to bring in new people so they can bring in more money they dont even think about the residents anymore . the light on the stairs hasn't even been fixed and my flat has been infested with cockroaches :/ i am not impressed at all but they are always quick to chase me with the rent :@

The best word on the vid was that the landlords are taking away the community spirit that is unique to the Loughborough park estate, destroying the work. Fuck that. Snakes will do anything for money. I would advise anyone who currently lives under the Guinness Trust try to get a transfer to The Samuel Lewis Trust Group which is the best Housing Group in the UK. Based in Horsham, However they have Flats & Houses all over South London, including Camberwell Green, etc.

Great video, I wish you luck in your fight to have a say in what concerns you. I don't think its a race issue I think its a CLASS issue - working class housing has been under attack for years and so-called regeneration is usually in the interest of landowners and chain supermarkets etc. All the best

GUINESS PUNCH! Great film. The Landlord should be taking proper channels to conduct full consultation around the redevelopment particularly if they are changing the mix of tenure in the area.
Contact Clapham Park NDC's Resident Assoc. who went through similar issues to you to find out how they addressed problems, get your local councilllor on board before Guinness buy them off with positions of power on a 'new' Res Assoc., and get Ken involved as part of his campaign for the mayoral elections!
