I am 25 and just started bellydance classes. I would like to become good, and maybe participate in local competitions. Is this possible at my age or am I too old? I know most dances require that you start very young to become good....is the same true with bellydance? I love it, it is so much fun and a complete pleasure!

@violetviolets Never too old. I started at 49! Do I do batchelor parties and such? No, but I solo in a local restaurant and dance with a troupe and have a ball. Go for it.

at 0.46 the music is turkish roma with 9/8 rythm. by the way tribal to turkish roma is so stupid.

I think having 3 girls with wings doing the same thing is overkill. More then one dancer with wings only really looks good if they do diffrent moves for most of the dance

I took a workshop last weekend with Kaeshi. She's a very good teacher and a neat person. During the Sat. night show, she included one of her "Bellypopping" routines. Awesome!
