  • I can has? I so want that for my car.

  • hey man ive been lookin for something like this but are they comin out with one the sounds more meaner...lol but hey how much did it cost plz reply back

  • it sounds ok but why would you want a dual exhaust on a non turbo 4cyl? better yet why would you want an exhaust that doesnt fit your car? one tip comes out where it should the other comes out +2inches below that!

  • i say we should get together and finally make a lancer GTS team in brampton if that was you..

  • EVOSOUL, hey whats up buddy..i think ive seen your car,you live in brampton dont you?..i saw you friday january 23rd at night at wal-mart..you parked beside my blue lancer..lol

  • è un insulto alle evo che sono venute prima...con la evo x hanno proprio toppato...che schifo!

  • Ok so is it ready yet? Cause im planning on getting a gts in about 2 months and would love to have this dual exhaust!

  • This is beautiful, but whatever happened?

    What are the current updates?

  • Hi there, sorry i havent updated the youtube posts, but if you go to evolutionm . net

and search the forum with the key words dual exhaust I am sure you will find the relevant threads.

current update is the manufacturer has agreed to launch an exploratory project and look into creating this exhaust either in its dual exhaust variant or traditional single exhaust version. Also I am now working on a single exhaust, waiting for it to arrive by the end of the month.

  • i really, really want this. when will it be ready? how much $? and do you ship internationally or just USA? please let me know! :O

  • I hear ya bro, if everything goes well then it will be manufactured in the USA and will be done professionally by the original muffler's Manufacturer.

I applogize for the delay, but I have a million projects going on, so the resources I have availible are limited.

But I am making progress, keep an eye on the evolutionm forums to keep any eye on project developments

  • additionally, should the talks with the manufacturer not go well, then I will release all white papers relating to this exhaust setup allowing everyone out there to re create it. It may be labor intensive, but I think it was worth all the effort I have put into this paticular project.

    Cheers

  • April 24 2008 Update:

In formal talks with the manufacturer for US production as well as discussing RalliArt and EVO X variants.

    More details as they come

    Cheers

  • how much does it weigh?

  • The shipped weight from what i remember off the top of my head was 25 pounds, but I would have to wait till my next shipment to get you a more exact scale number. Cause 25 would be a guess, from al the times i had to carry that thing around and modifying it... message me if you dont see a figure on here in 2 or 3 weeks time

  • I picked one up the other day, definately not 25pounds, maybe 40 if i had to guess, I will weight it on the shipout to Singapore

  • where can i get an evosoul badge?

  • Evosoul badges are handled by a good friend of mine who aquired it from an online source. I will inquire when I hear back from him in Japan, in the mean time I think there is a website like badgemyride, badgeyourride or something like that that has badge letters. I can not testify to their quality because I have never seen or used them. My letters dont come from them. if you dont see the link here in a 2 weeks, message me again to followup

    Cheers

  • thinking of taking off my mistu badge painting it n putting it back onn just wondering wut u use too glue ur evoosoul?

  • I got the evosoul thru a sponsoring vendor, but if you are going to apply your badge back to your car besure to use an adhesive that is friendly to your car body/paint. I beleive 3M has a double sided tap adhesive that works well.

I know someone who used super glue and lets just say when he pulled it off, some of the paint came with it.

    Hope that helps

  • How is the project coming along?

  • The weather hasnt been to friendly, very windy, not idle for sound testing. I hope to get some audio testing done by the 15th and uploaded, both internal and external, on a large road or down at the track.

A bodykit hopefully will be installed by the end of the month and we are gearing up get the dynos done in a 3 way test with a Stock and other brand setup.

    More on that later

  • Ok thanks, I hope everything goes well.

  • Jan 08 update

Tentative Agreement with bodykits. com to help support and advance Project Dark Horse : EVOSOUL Dual Exhaust

  • DEude that sounds nice. I would like an exhaust system like this on my GTS. It sounds powerful, and not toooo ricy. Very nice.

  • prototypes start selling in Jan or Feb in the USA, Japan already has the final version and thats under going final testing over there. The only dif between the prototype and the Final is less welding due to custom made pipes designed from the prototype. made with 304 high grade steel. The prototype in the hands of a capable welding shop should be no problem, but you need to either install a rear lip or make a cut on the left side to ensure a solid fitment.

  • Its not in a plug and play bolt on form, but it is a moderate to easy welding / fit ment job for your welding / exhaust shop.

Its geared towards boosting your low end power and targeted for the CVT owners, but works well with a 5 speed.

If you own a CVT, I would recommend a SRI over a CAI to further boost the low end power.

  • I have a standard 5spd. How much would this system cost altogether?

  • cost will be set once R&D is concluded, all prototypes have been sold already. I will try to give cost estimates early in the new year.

  • Alright thnx man.

  • Update 18th

North American Dyno Testing will be conducted hopefully during the holiday break, just waiting for a day to get the stock 18" wheels back on and take the winter tires off to ensure an accurate dyno.

Also keep your eyes open for a single pipe exhaust of the same muffler canister type. Same great tone, same great low to mid RPM performance focus for the CVT transmission and a different version for mid to high end performance.

    Cheers

  • Update Dec 9 2007

Shipping 5 prototypes to Japan for evaluation

  • dude, how did you set up the dual exhaust?

  • Make a long story short, Have been working on developing a proper single and dual exhaust system. The MK2 version you are looking at now for the dual exhaust is geared towards improving low end torque and engine response.

for more info check evolutionm forum, for direct links check the "details of this video"

  • oh okay thanks man!

  • I WANT IT! haha
