  • This song is supposedly "racist"? Guess what? I DON'T GIVE A SHIT!!!

  • Great swing.

  • Im a huge fan of the andrew sisters.

  • fallout 3

  • i don't really get how can this be racist

  • i love you for uploading this

  • i heard it first from fallout 3 too XD

  • Also, don't hate on people who heard this first on Fallout 3. Be glad that video games are introducing people to good music!

  • It must be a rule on youtube that any argument about music will involve Justin Bieber at some point. It's like the Hitler rule for everything else.

  • @Meganerdbomb Do you know who else talked about rules? HITLER!

  • This is such a good song to fit with Fallout 3. It just shows what civilization can possibly do which is devastating itself. Just a sorta dark humor there.

  • love it!

  • lol, thumbs up if Fallout 3 and Adrian Lane's Lolita (1997 version) brought you here

  • really, u dont have to bring JB to all the unnecessary videos >:|

  • I'm a young person who heard this long before Fallout 3, then was really proud when a popular piece of media -- and a great, well done game used such a great piece of music. Music is music, and just because you heard it "before us young people," doesn't mean you own it. Ageism is a deep rooted issue in music, but I think the older generation has a lot more "growing up" to do than some of us. You were young once too !

  • thumbs up if fallout 3 brought you here!

  • What is wrong with you people? Insults and crude language are hardly befitting a class act like Danny, Take it elsewhere so I can show this to my children without having to get them off the computer before they see your sewer language. Oh yeah, why are 'kids today' so bad? It's just the role models and examples they have to follow. You probably think you qualify as civilised too...what a joke!

  • @kayil31 Welcome to the Internet. Enjoy your stay.

  • @kayil31 Congratulations, you learned what the internet is about.

  • @TheSuperSaiyanTo those lovely people giving me their sarcastic comments and treating me like I'm some mentally incompetent person who suddenly discover the internet and have no idea of the realities of life - grow up! Evil prevails when good people do nothing. That you think I should just accept filth shows what a problem you are. I can guarantee I was using the internet well before you were, I'm not a naive newbie, quite the opposite, with the spine to stand up for what I believe in.

  • @kayil31

I don't care about your spine, or what it believes in, I just want people to understand that the internet is the way it is, and there's nothing people like you can do about it. Even if good tries to do something, there's still a chance they could still lose and "Evil" as you say, still prevails, and just saying, there is really not no true good or evil on the internet, as far as I can see, I can only see "Peaceful People", and "Neutral", but if you want to judge yourself as good, okay.

  • @TheSuperSaiyan And there you prove my point beyond a doubt!

  • @kayil31

    You had a point~?

  • @kayil31 I grew up watching the Danny Kaye show, his Movies and have always loved his music, I still have my childrens records by him from 50 years ago, and my kids grew up listening to him. Seems to me a truly kind person singing is just whats called for today.

  • @kayil31 if what you are trying to get at is that your any more civilized then a person that uses bad language or should i say instead of a person "a kid", which by the way you have no facts supporting that they are kids, you are a very conceited person. You have no right to call yourself better or more civilized then someone else because of they express there inner anger with words which are deemed inappropriate by society. Would you rather have them express there anger with physical violence

  • anyone come here because fallout i did xd

  • this song makes me think of running from deathclaw while being level 2 and senselessly murdering entire town with my AK and 10 millimeter

  • This is my favorite raider-killing song.

  • Believe it or not, this was one of the first records I ever owned - my brother gave it to me for my 6th birthday (or maybe my 7th)....

It probably explains a lot :-)

  • fallout 3!!!

  • @Dumbmajor9696 Not sure if trolling.

  • @Dumbmajor9696 Actually I just read the last part. Yeah it's trolling. 4/10

  • @Dumbmajor9696 yeah man. keep suckling Justin Bieber's cock. His music and Megadeath's is best, isn't it?

  • @Griesmayer JUSTIN BIEBERS CAWK IS TASTY. DONT KNOCK IT TO YOU TRY IT!

  • A very uplifting tune to raise the spirits of any wasteland wanderer. Nothing better than bopping along to Danny Kaye while elegantly dispatching Radscorpions and Yao Gaui with a fat man. Don't forget your RadAway!!

  • I was a huge Kaye fan long before Fallout 3. His wife wrote "Happy Times" for The Inspector General in which it is Kaye singing it. A different singer does it in Fallout 3. some good trivia, that. :)

  • fallout!!!

  • Hey did anyone else look up this song after watching Lolita?

  • Amazing tone for how old the machine is...

  • lmao at the people who say its famous because of fallout 3 LOOOOOOOOL some people dont know anything !!!

  • Ok, so im 14 and listen to slipknot and metallica and hate rap, so what if I like this because its off of Fallout its still an amazing song. All you haters need to calm down it does not matter how we found out about this song, you liked it before Fallout good for you, if you didn't like me thank Fallout for introducing you t an amazing music genre.

  • @PR0F1LMS

Dosent matter where you here it, it just means that this music is still living on.

    Go you!

  • straight from the record...it doesn't get any better!!!!

  • @Driven763 Uh, no. I liked it before I'd even heard of the Fallout games.

  • I WILL BUY THAT RECORD PLAYER AND RECORD LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

  • there's a lot of truth in this song.

  • Thank you for putting this on. Makes me smile everytime i listen to it :)

  • anyone know where I can get an instrumental version of this song? oh, and sheet music for flute?

  • @iceytoshirou I've got the sheet music but I guess it's for piano cause my mum bought it when the song first came out & she only played piano afaik.

  • @gramophoneshane hey can u email the piano one to me please

  • I love this "dissimulate" way he speaks, this music is just plain awesome, how could I stay alive so much time without knowing the existance of this?

  • I gotta get me one of those, i dont know how is it possible, but it sounds better than on my PC and i got a 320kbps..

  • drop da bombs!

  • this makes me think of mowing down super mutants with a minigun

  • i dont see why people would criticize fallout. we all discover music one way or another. you dont see people bitching cuz you might have heard it on the radio.

  • this is perhaps the silliest song in the universe, it's kinda sad that you don't get anything happy go lucky in this way anymore

  • This song is awesome and I am a fucking child prodigy for loving this stuff albeit I'm just 14, cmon vote me up bc... If you don't you love Justin Bieber, yehh.

  • its the andrew sisters and danny kaye it dont get much better

  • 1. Buy player for €50 at a yard sale

    2. Buy a good oldfashioned safety or cutthroat razor to shave with.

    3. Throw out sissy gel and get pommade or brylcreem.

    4. ????

    5. Profit.

    6. Feel like a true king erryday all day.

  • man it really does make me want to reinstall Fallout 3 and play it again rather then wait for a new hard drive

  • I want to listen to more music like this. I also loved Way Back Home from Fallout 3. Anyone have any recommendations?

  • Does anyone beside me still play F3?

  • @DylanMatthewB ME!!! ooooooh trust me, nobody really finishes Fallout 3

  • what album is that ive been looking everywhere for it

  • To gramophoneshane, do you , or have you played Fallout 3...if so do you love it like the rest of us?

  • @juncho1977 you don't have to play fallout 3 to know this song or love it

  • This is fabulous! What a good sound!

  • "Thanks for listening chiiiiiiiiiiiilldren!"

  • * * * * *

  • it make me want kill everyone in megaton

  • i never go underground without this song playing

  • I will always be walking alone in the wasteland with this song playing on my radio.

  • Doesn't matter how you discovered it, it's still good

  • Discovered with Fallout 3

  • I WANT ONE!!!

  • damn! You have THAT on record! EPIC lol

  • Geez it still sounds great!! (Y)

  • Geez its still sound greet ! (Y)

  • omg... a treasure :)

  • What a wonderful machine, it must cost a fortune, I wish I had one. Great sound to hear Danny Kaye.

  • this reminds me of roaming in a post apocalyptic hellhole..

    weird

    oh and of shooting zombies

  • The people bitching that people came to listen to this because of Fallout 3 should just shut up and be happy that today's young people are listening to some good tunes and enjoying themselves. Plus Fallout 3 is a totally awesome game.

  • @powermasterjazz i agree a education of music is good education in my mind

  • @powermasterjazz what do you mean? Are you saying that kids are listening to this or are you saying like rap or something, but I agree, Fallout 3 is an awesome game.

  • @devon00789 no I wasn't talking about rap. I said "good tunes" not "garbage"

  • @powermasterjazz As i discovered this fine tune i browsed around on the net and found many as good as this and even some better. Future and history themed games and movies are a nice cocktail and the way to go.

It's great when you go and do chores around the house, play this music and do a sing a long :) .

  • @powermasterjazz i totally agree with you...noones likes a shitty hipster attitude -_- and yeah I also came here from Fallout 3 lol

  • I cant wait to hear the music in Vegas, if you catch my drift. ;)

  • That is incredible quality

  • You know you can get hurt that way Daniel?

  • @Nitrological I guess I'll stay where I Aum

  • FALLOUT 3 YEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • MOGAZINE? WHAT HOPPEN? XD

  • people only listen to this because its in fallout and thats how its become so popular so stfu GmanZombie :D

  • FALLOUT o.o

  • @JohnCardenas24 Seriously shut the hell up people stop coming onto videos like this and say FALLOUT, THE MUSIC IS NOT FROM FALLOUT.

  • @GmanZombie Chill out man. The most recent place this music has been used in the mainstream is in the game Fallout 3. I personally am very happy that the music was in the game because it introduces a totally different genre of music to a generation that knows nothing about it.

  • I think that somehow we should bring back the spirit of the andrew sisters, back then even the muggers have class, now you get mugged outside kroger parking lots by people wearing tiger jurseys.

  • Where could I get a gramophone like that and records and how much would it cost?

  • @inverseactuality Ummm...the model shown is an oak HMV 202 re-entrant. These, along with the mahogany 203, are quite rare & valuable. They were the biggest & best sounding internal horn machines ever made, and will usually cost at least US$10,000 to buy one. However, you can get regular common cabinet models for as little as $100.

Im not sure what a copy of this record would bring now thanks to fallout3, but I cant see it being more than $10 or $15. It was only worth $1 before fallout3.

  • fall out 3 : )

  • @chronos1112 stfu

  • Tarzan would love this song! - And yes, we play Fallout 3! :D

  • Just one thing to say, GODLIKE!

  • I love it, Andrews sisters were the first Rock N' Rollers! Nice Sound Thanks for sharing. : ). Yea fallout woke me up to the Andrews sisters they have over 100 Hits the first female and only trio group to get where they got!

    cmgww.com/music/andrews/about/bio.htm

  • You know you can get hurt that way, Daniel?

  • Amazing! Thanks for sharing this with everyone!

  • Only things come through my mind is FALLOUT 3.

  • Incredible, 17 sub-humans couldn't recognize the perfection of singers from the past.

  • FALLOUT 3 FTW

  • Sir, is the music real? Or added?

  • Thumbs up if Fallout 3 got you here!

  • @Shicbs Yes but now I'm citing it in a paper about John Locke.

  • @Shicbs I give a thumbs up becaue Fallout 3 indeed brought me here!

  • @CornerStoned420 Awesome, ain't it :D

  • civilization, who needs it?

  • wait...wheres my pipboy?

  • thats so awesome dude im 14 and i love this music god damn i was born in the wrong time fuck rap and all tht hip hop

  • @SGTFlippy867 same here bro

  • @SGTFlippy867 Thank Fallout :D

  • I've heard peyote cactus needles are the most reliable - but this sounds WONDERFUL :D

  • FALLOUT 3 SOUNDTRACK! WOOO

  • Who disliked this the only way you could get to this vid is probably your intention of searching it up so who would come here just to thumb it down :/

  • It makes me want to kill supermutants.

  • @jmangell :D

  • im a metal head and i like all of this music. it makes me hate rap even more.

  • @Killerclownmeat I had..long ago. Unless I'm remembering incorrectly, it's one variation on an English slang for gay/homosexual.

Some nice trolling you got there btw.

  • Fallout 3 what? No really tho I listened to stuff like this before that, but they did do a good job picking this to be in the game. Its a good song to listen to when wandering the wasteland.

BTW I love your record player, it reminds me of my Grumpa (Not bad spelling thats what I call him, lol). At my families summer camp in Star Lake there is an old radio that looks like it would match it. It doesn't work tho its just there for decoration :/

  • That sounds amazing, assuming that music is coming from that record player and that vinyl record. Thanks for sharing.

  • @rosielaydee yeah, it's coming from the gramophone. This model was the best sounding internal horn wind-up machine made anywhere in the world. There was one better model made in the mid 30s by EMG, but its an external horn model (with a big trumpet horn). This one sounds amasing in real life, especially considering it was made in 1927.

  • @gramophoneshane things back then were made for lasting.

  • @rosielaydee: That piece is so old that the record probably isn't even vinyl,

    its made of hard wax.

  • "They got things like the atom bomb"

"So I think I'll stay where I OM" :D I love that part!

  • @purplegirl1919 hahaha yeah shits hilarious.

  • hah i like how this was responded to!!

  • My day just became slightly better.

  • After reading your replies to comments I was astonished at all the different aspects to using phonographs. I didn't know that you had to change needles and such.

  • Nice! this has been up 3 years and the WMG hasn't taken it down like the others.

  • i bet 80 percent of the people watching this video play fallout

  • @owned1778

    XD

  • @owned1778 Probably more than that

  • @owned1778 yea lol... I recognized the name of the song :)

  • @owned1778 whats wrong with that? Its music that would have otherwise fallen on deaf ears if it wasnt used. I think Obsidian/Bethesda using this style of music were thinking well

  • @owned1778 i did lmao

  • Hahaa!

  • @owned1778 well...um...yes...at least, i am in that category...sorry? lol

  • @owned1778 and whats wrong bout that?
