They did an album (Mermaid Avenue) with Billy Bragg where they took Woody Guthrie lyrics that had never been set to music and wrote music for them. In doing so, they tried to write the music they way they thought Woody would have done it. The Woody Guthrie Foundation asked Billy Bragg to do it and and Bragg invited Wilco to participate.

the reason the beatles became famous is because their music was just awesome and appealed to all people basically. today people listen to music because today's music is enhanced to appeal to today's idiots... some mainstream stuff is good. radiohead is mainstream even though they dont wanna be, but i believe their music is amazing and has influenced me. wilco isnt very mainstream but they're great. ive just been introduced to this kinda music and i love it. todays mainstream radio music sucks :D

So yeah, The Beatles' music was enhanced, but they played their guitars and their drums in the studio rather than using some computer program. It is handy, though, which is why they use it.

You did a remarkable job on the lip synch. It's really a touching video. It's very good but to be honest, an artist isn't supposed to have to explain their work. If not for your description, no one viewing this would know it's about what you say. Nowhere did the bird look "distraught" until compared to the final few clips. Nowhere did we get the idea he was supposed to be a cartoon bird in "real life" that felt abandoned by his creator until the end, which was only clear because you said so.
