  • shouldn't there be a question mark after the song title???????????

  • I LOVE this music!!!!! She is a heartfelt, poetic and expressive songstress beyond measure!! Haven't found out yet if she writes all of this herself or if this is a Sade type of arrangement where the band creates the musical arrangement and she creates the lyrical and vocal arrangements...but however it goes, Rumer is REAL MUSIC!!! SOOOOO Beautiful!!!...especially "Slow.....slow this ride down...."

  • You people who clicked dislike can go listen to Miley Sirus. I'm sure that will satisfy you kids. This is for adults who appreciate quality music over what's popular.

  • Beautiful song.

  • omg!!!! heard the song 1st on Jay Leno and I was truly mesmerizer! It reminded me of my Mom and the beautiful music she listened to in the 70ths.I played her music all night. I really miss you mom!

  • Wow this is so retro and smooth! Just heard it on Leno also.

  • Just saw this on Jay Leno - Yes like a flash back---- Just A Great Sound --Like > Dusty Springfield and Patula Clark.

  • Wow. During 3:36 min... I've gone back in the 70's, behind the wheel of my old 1973 Oldsmobile again....^^

  • I just got the "Seasons of my Soul" album on pre-order and love every song on it. I think "Rumer" will be very successful in America. I hope she is anyway.

  • Finally, let´s celebrate Music!

  • pretty!!

  • Sounds so much like Karen Carpenter!

  • @justliketheguy especially @ 0:19 . I must say, I have to agree with you! It's been a long time since the late great Karen Carpenter left us, but her voice still lingers in our memories...

  • What a warm and blissfull voice! It se seems you can touch the sky with the hand. Rumer rules!!!

  • Das lied ist echt toll. :)

  • Amy Winehouse better half

  • Comment removed

  • qualquer coisa de carpenter? linda...

  • What a rush. I haven't felt so teenage since, well, forever now.

I can't think of anything yummier than this song.

  • This is sooooooooo beautiful... i want more music like this! Rumer had great voice, and her album i great too :) Greeting from Poland :)

  • love this song at first.. but after 99 times play button pushed it's reminds me terry callier - ordinary joe

  • i agree good music and film comes from United Kingdom :)Love her voice...

  • charming singer, great, great !!!!!

  • she is good. :)

  • Very Karen Carpenter & very refreshing :)

  • Brilliant! My favourite song on her brilliant album. We need more people like Rumer in the music industry.

  • sounds like a great northern soul tune far better than duffy,s mercy

  • One of the big differences with Karen is that Rumer 's softer and doesn't sing with an American accent. I love Karen Carpenter very much, listened to her from the days she made her music with Richard, but this is as good as, but different!

A very sure, beautiful and clear voice, tender.

  • une chanson ça va, deux, on commence à s'endormir...

  • wow....i love dis song. thumbs up frm ma side...

  • What's good is her authentic 1970's sound. I hope she doesn't destroy it with her popularity.

  • actually, she sounds a little like k.d. Lang...and this background music was ripped off an American classic.

  • バカラックも魅了してる、イギリス女性新進シンガールーマー、勿論バカラック調のナンバー"AM I FORGIVEN"~今、来日中!

  • Great song and a geat voice. I love THE CARPENTERS, and her voice makes me think of this band, Think I'm gonna buy her album!

  • her voice is amazing! thankfully there are still good singer

  • :-)

  • good voice.

  • What a beautyful voice and a fantastic song !!!

    I like it !

Yeah, I reminded The Carpenters too....... !!!

That is music, you wanna hear in 20 years from now...... !!!

  • exlente

  • this is great!....reminds me of Carole King.I love the groovy "old " sound, yet this is new...I want more!!!

  • Love it!

  • Listened to this on a flight from chicago to florida.

  • Beautifull!!!! I love!!!!!!!

  • Man, this is what I call MUSIC...Besides she's beautiful...

  • great song! pulls me back again into the 70s

  • Finally a REAL singer!!! Very Karen Carpenter/Springfield [both fabulous] I'm sure those that don't like her are either metal or country fans....shudder shudder

  • @bluegardenia29 defo karen carpenter ish.... good tho ;-)

  • Love her album from start to finish! Great talent :)

  • elevator and shopping mall music with an equally boring voice

  • @klcbsoft why don't you crawl back under the rock you came from.

  • @songwriter8678 - I'd love to seek shelter under my rock, but that woman's incessant caterwauling and shameless ripping off of good old school music has left me too disorientated to find it. Looks like i have to dwell around here for a bit and suffer from that brunette boredom who blends voice and purgatory so seamlessly well.

  • @klcbsoft so i suppose yo u like it ?

  • @klcbsoft Long live elevator shopping mall music.

  • ich mag' das Lied nicht. :D

  • My love for Rumer comes from my mum playing the Carpenters, Aretha Franklin and Dusty Springfield as a child - Love her music - reminds me of childhood!

  • I decided to stop listening to this song since it's going round in my mind the whole day.

  • Fantastic sound, wonderful song. Very catchy.

Especially love the part at 1:38... made me think of Bacharach... he would love this.

I heard this song for the first time yesterday and immediately fell in love with it!

  • She has a wonderful voice and all, but i can't get past the schnoz. It kinda looks like it has a sentience of its own...

  • sebberskyld I couldn't agree with you more.

Rumer bring back happy memories of the 70s for me, good to hear music like this again.

  • Where all the comments saying she's pretty! When she looks at the camera the very end, I melted :-)

  • I've cried for joy

  • Well, I think she's more "authentic" in this style of music than "Duffy" or "Amy Winehouse".

  • ich finde , es hört sich gelangweilt an -.-

  • @jappyL richtig

  • @skotnop3 ja , oder .. ! unfassbar wie man sowas gut finden kann , musik sollte mit spaß gesungen werden .

  • She's amazing......No need for her to strain her voice like Aguilera/Carey/Houston with messy vocal acrobatics. Just pure, naturally stunning vocal talent. Hope she gets the recognition she deserves.

  • I can't get over how much she reminds me of Karen. There will never be another Karen, but she's wonderful.

  • thank u for this nice song....

  • I was just gonna post the same comment

, been looking all night for her songs

  • The closest we will see in this lifetime to Karen Carpenter I think! No "Autotune" needed!

  • I have to agree....I accidently heard this track on the radio today since I truly dislike modern day music. Nevertheless, it also reminded me of Karen Carpenter and felt it might be some unknown track. Thumbs up for this record!

  • @kax61 I HEARD THE FIRST WORD AND WOWWWWWWW SHES FANTASTIC

  • thank you for this wonderful music......go on

  • She reminds me of the style of Katie Melua...♥ I love :) beautiful voice ♥

  • Rumer has so much class.I hope she goes on and on.

  • Great Song+Great video!!!

  • omg

  • I agree with the comments about her sounding like Karen Carpenter. When I first heard it on Radio, I thought it was an old Carpenters track.

  • I did not know that she was from Pakistan.

  • anyone remember 'Spanky and Our Gang' [the 70's] - parts of this remind me of their feel - wonderful upbeat song!

  • tres tres bien!! un peu de fraicheur musicale

  • FANTASTIC. Rumer is even better live saw her in Oxford, brill what more can be said of her the best to come on the scene for a long time.

  • This is spooky ... I thought it was a new song by Carpenters - and a resurrected Karen. Even Burt Bacharach's french horn is in there. I just hope that nobody will ever claim that Rumer's music is original in any way whatsoever, but it's definitely a cool tribute to Carpenters. In that context I love it!

  • she has the same voice of Karen Carpenter , I love this. amazing.

  • i dont just like this i love this!!

  • great track

  • J'ADOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE !

  • Got a shock when I heard this on the radio! I could've sworn it was Karen Carpenter. Rumer has such a lovely voice. Great voice, great song!

  • Bloody amazing Song and Singer....

  • I heard this on Radio 2 and I too thought it was the unforgettable Karen Carpenter. Wonderful voice. Thank you.

  • Wow, she is great, and yes I have to agree with lostequinox but I love Karen Carpenter and she is american

  • No me olvides, nunca

    TE AMO=D

  • This sounds like a Dusty Springfield sort of song - but it is still very nice to listen to.

  • The Album is soooo wonderful , i can´t explain how i feellll........

  • Lovely - the album is brill too !!

  • Can't wait to see her in Oxford on 26th March.....truly amazing voice, and so clear, you can understand every word she sings, unlike a lot of singers now!!!!

  • nearly like caren Carpenter :-)

  • @MsChilli82 Karen* sorry, just had to :)

  • her voice reminds me of Karen Carpenter . wonderful clear voice .

  • @Prouddemocrate when i heard this i actually thought it was lol..

  • american music? hell no! good music always comes from the UK!!!

  • @LostEquinox That's an ignorant statement, I didn't know good music was geographic. You just made yourself sound like an ASS. Good music is good music, who cares where it comes from. I can tell you some not so good things that also come from the UK, just like the US. I suppose you also believe the only good music is the music YOU listen too, right?

  • @LostEquinox Like Cliff Richard

  • @LostEquinox 4 real...hellur!

  • @LostEquinox

This isnt even close to American music... and good music always comes from the UK? Kinda narrow minded :P Do you even ever listen to music that doesnt come from the UK?

  • Good music comes from all kinds of artists all over the world. Great British acts have been influenced by great American acts and vice versa down the years in pretty much equal quantity.

Who owns music? It's like arguing about who owns the air that we all breathe!

  • @Bricray TREES OWN THE AIR WE BREATH WE CUT EM DOWN SOON WE WILL BE BREATHIN DUST GREAT RUMER VIDS ON HERE THOUGH X

  • @Bricray

    Actually, she's from pakistan.

  • @ringo1972 Well, no matter how narrow minded that sounds, best music always came from UK. All the worlds most popular bands and almost all musicians of last century were british.

  • @derbigpr500 She's from pakistan. And no, not all the best music come from UK.

  • @derbigpr500 Popular doesn't mean good. It means that , that musician has a way to spread his music towards the people, that probably he has money to do that or so.

There are some fantastic musicians around the world who are just uknown by the people.

  • @lucasdacunto And don't say me UK is a third world poor and bad life quality country, because it is not at all...

  • @LostEquinox those yanks claiming yet again.. lol!

  • @LostEquinox Ugh I'm American and this is true.

  • Bought the album instantly after I heard her on Radio 2 in October.

    An absolutely wounderful voice.

The videos are very good too.

Would be one of the first to buy tickets, for any show, if she would come to Sweden.
