i dont really understand house. it was very strong , with superfast body language and excellent rhythm. didnt love it but didnt hate it, either. yay karen kain!!!

honestly, why don't you just enjoy the dancing instead of running your mouth about who's done what first. cos the point of the SYTYCD show, Canadian version or not, is to appreciate dancers and dancing in general. they didn't make the show to see what country will do what style of dance first. by putting ridiculous, irrelevant comments like this on what can inspire others is pretty immature.

So what does it matter?

It's the same routines & styles, different dancers & Countries.

They have to hype it up in every place, by saying it's "not been done before"

I think the point they were trying to make was that SYTYCD Canada is the only show that has done House, not necessarily just this season. And they thought that, but I don't think anyone was completely sure - SuperMartasofia pointed out it has been done on the Scandinavian show.

OMG this was so friggen awesome, so much fun to watch. I wanted to jump up and join them. They put a huge smile on my face that lasted all day long. That is what dance for me is all about. Well done Tera Jean and Everett well done !

@rapier16 I can't remember their names.. I think it was second season SYTYCD Canada but, they danced house and THAT was house. Unfortunately, this amount to no more than fancy footwork. House was is supposed to give the feeling that your very light on your feet, as if your gliding on rollerskates. Now I wanna hear what the judges say...

omg....this is really amazingg!! i never really liked house cuz it was sorta boring to me..but THIS plus the right kind of music,. was amazing!! they totally aced this and they were totally in sync..and the crowd was totally loving it.

to me this is prtty close to an a plus!!

Tara kinda fell over a bit, but that actually was the end of the dance. It looked a little more sold live but your right it does look like it is cut off lol.

She didn't fall or anything, she just put her foot down. they were supposed to be positioned on one foot at the end but she lost her balance a bit and steped down quickly so I assume they didn't want to show that on television.

Hm, Dan said that house hadn't been done in any of SYTYCD on the world. It isn't true. I don't know how about other countries bui in Poand we saw it a few times :)

The producers have been trying to throw these guys under the bus for weeks now by giving them hard styles to tackle. Big kudos to them for being safe every week. And TJ killed the house routine! I suspect their fanbase is VERY big, could be the biggest of them all as they have yet to hit B3.

If TJ makes top 10, she could be a darkhorse contender. She has proven to be the most VERSATILE female dancer on the show, based on what styles they've given her.

Emanual and Kim have also not been in the B3 but they have the figure Skating world, which I belong to. However I grew up with Everett so I am on his fan bandwagon. I can't confirm how big his fanbase is but his FB group is rather large. "Everett Smith fans!"

As much as I am a fan of Everett I am glad he got partnered with TJ. I have grown to LOVE her. she is so cute and fun, I just love watching these guys. and your right the producers are trying to 'throw them under the bus'.

I think all the comments from Leah and Dan are about how this style isn't seen on any other SYTYCD stage other than Canada. Dance Hall and House seem to be a Canadian exclusive!

For this routine specifically: Now this is the kind of choreography from Sho Tyme that I know (from Lisa & Vincent last year) and love. (I wasn't too crazy about his earlier hip hop routines this season.) Loved Tara Jean's solo in the beginning. She's got this freedom in her upper body. They both killed it!

This was my favourite routine this week. It was just fun, light and it made me want to dance. Simple as that. Was very impressed by T.J. I don't like Sho-Tyme but I like his house choreography.
