Most of you guys are idiots.... The whole cts-v series is 3.9 0 to 60... The wagon weighs 50lbs more than the sedan. Try actually "knowing" what your talking about before you speak, you shouldn't procreate if you are that stupid.. Just saying. For what it is, its amazing and based off THE FASTEST production sedan in the world says more than anything. Go pay double for a car that is baaaaarely faster and rides like crap to boot...

They saw BMW M5 E60 Wagon in Europe which been making since 2003 because of tough regulation didn't let it to come to US but they liked the concept of making monster sport wagon and now we see finally our friends in Cadillac in 2011 got ability to make something BMW was making over half a decade ago ! CTS-V wagon should be interesting car just because it has been copy of BMW .

@radiodiary1 They could add AWD, except there's too much torque, so an AWD system that could handle it would add a lot to the cost of the car, and that almost certainly means no manual option, which is what really sets the V apart from some of its competition that may only offer auto transmissions. And AWD would neuter the handling. It may have more grip, but then understeer becomes an issue and powerslides would be impossible.

So if you want AWD, import an Audi RS6 Avant... for about $100k

Also i dont kno where you get your stats from. In pinellas county the 3 cadillac dealerships dont even keep them on display in the lobby because its that ugly and they rarely sell them. The CTS was outselling the wagon big time. I know the General Manager for 2 of the dealerships.

I dont like the coupe either, its dimensions are wrong, it appears big & fat esp at the back...the design lines lack any excitment. I hated the xlr aswell, the wagon is just okay.....my advice, stop messing around, build the coupe thats called the Holden Coupe 60, its got the character, the style & the fender flares like Mercedes amg BLACK SERIES, next take the xlr's platform & build a euro chic hatchback like Z4 M, a sportswagon minus the rear doors!
