I think its our lazy teachers in America to blame. They just assign homework and cruise through their work day without making much effort. What I find more shocking is when I know more about American History/Politics than some Americans I meet (Canadian currently studying Med. at Miller Med in Miami).
For instance, I remember trying to list the US presidents with 6 American student colleagues, and was able to list 32, while they knew 12 to 25.

I think its our lazy teachers in America to blame. They just assign homework and cruise through their work day without making much effort. How many good teachers did you have growing up in public schools? I think I might of had one or two at the most that really cared. Over the course of 12 years of school there must of been a hundred teachers but only one or two was worth a damn. They gripe about making 35K a year. Seems like plenty to me for the amount of work they put into their days.

Americans don't watch Canadian T.V.. This is the problem with Moore's theory, they watch our news all the time. Also, no one is generally interested in Canadian politics because they are not a world power so they are not important. We can easily name the U.K.'s 3 and they are even farther away. Moore never said that the man in the picture was a bodyguard; he mentioned a bodyguard afterwards when he talked about going up to the hotel room. Not when the picture was being shown. Chavez is often referred to as a dictator even though he won free and fair elections with about a 70% majority. I've noticed that any leader who implements socialist policies gets denigrated in America, no doubt because they don't cater to American corporate interests.
