@Jasminewynja Playing on its faceplate (where I was playing) can be pretty loud but if you turn it around and play it on the back where the sound hole is, it's a lot more quiet and has a more natural woody sound that I sometimes actually prefer. So it's a great buy that suits nearly any environment. I'd definitely say it's "flat friendly" ;) . Hope this helps! -Michael
@razr2142 it depends how serious you are about playing. i bought this one for about $100 bucks and you deff get your money's worth for it, but if you're real serious save up for a more high end cajon. Great for beginners and hobbyists though :D
May i ask how noicy they are (i know it depends on how hard you hit) in average. Would you say you can use them in a flat without disturbing your neighbours?
This is FANTASTIC for only playing for 2 weeks. Very well done.

@syco5525 I modulate the pitch by moving my heel up and down the face of the cajon and my foot slides better with just the sock instead of a sneaker.
