  • It sounds good it's an amp to have in the studio just for kicks. If you have a variety of others that is.

  • Wish I could! The amp is going back tonight. It is too noisy at high volumes in the 4 watt mode. The noise floor makes it impossible for me to record with. I like it best cranked of course. GREAT concept, I wish it had a tad better/cleaner power supply.

  • Ah I see. Maybe the Xits X4? I guess that doesn't have the attenuation though. Speaking of Xits, have you tried anything besides the 50? The reason I ask is I'm looking at Voxy amps in the 15 watt range, and there is an X10 model they make. It's cheaper than the Vox AC15TV... no ef86 preamp and a ss rectifier but it probably has the edge in build quality... Do you still have your AC15 and would you recommend it? Any issues with it?
