I've seen many GTR videos and it looks so easy to drive quickly I guess you would get bored after a day or so and probably try and tune it up or something to make it more dangerous.

The only Ferrari that can keep up with a GT-R on track is the Enzo and thats 750,000 more in price range, The GT-R is also luxurious, it's actually one of the most comfiest cars i have ever driven and costs only £53,000 defently worth the money and you get hell of alot extra, i love Ferrari's every single Ferrari has been brillant can't doubt about that, i can't understand why people talk shit about cars because every car is good in there own way it's just how it is...
your right but it counts mainly on the driver some novice driver driving a 430 Scuderia can never get close to the car's potential, but the Nissan GT-R is such an easy car to drive (from what i have heard) that the car basically does most of the work, bt it still mainly counts on the driver of the car

@grandchancelor are you mad? the scuderia is faster by quite the marging in Vairano Handling Course, Italy/Hockenheim Short, Germany /on top gear track/Bedford Autodrome West Circuit (post 06/2008), Great Britain /Autocar Dry Handling Track, Great Britain/Virginia International Raceway, USA/Balocco, ItalyRing Knutstrop (Conf 2), Sweden/that is like every race track both cars have times, except for twin ring montegi in which the scuderia was on damp conditions. go check for yourself.

@masonizere the Scuderia is more of a track machine while being harder to drive, on the right hands and correct weather/track conditions is definitly faster than a GT-R,in most of the tracks but sure there are tracks in which the GT-R is faster like the tracks that advantages the high traction cars for exemple

I love the way he slows the video down whilst passing all three cars like it's some form of "major accomplishment" or something. It's very clear the other cars were not being driven at the limit. You all have no idea how hard or soft all the others were driving so please stop acting like this GTR simply blows by those cars like you fantisize about in this video. It would take at least 50% more HP to pass like that and we know the GTR isn't running +50% over the Ferrari.

A technological masterpiece is what I would describe it as. Personally I'm on the purist side of the spectrum, and minus the sequential gearbox, the Scuderia is more of a driver's car, imo.

Have you ever seen a Scuderia in person? I have on Laguna Seca when I was in Monterey. It didn't burst in flames. And trust me, there's no need to tell me about the Robusticity of German cars. I drive one.

Base 430's yeah, not a big deal I suppose, but 430 Scuds are amazing, especially from a chassis dynamics pov. Anything that can outlap an Enzo on a short track I'd say is pretty impressive. Although I'd probably buy a Porsche 917 replica before I buy any of these cars.

Sorry but the Scud and GTR both recorded identical times of 1:19.7 and they only record the power laps to the nearest 10th of a second. It might be worth mentioning that maybe on another track or with different drivers the GTR might be slightly quicker or slower than the Scud, however the thing I remember about both tests was how hugely impressed they were with both cars personally I'd be very happy with either but if someone was giving them away I'd take the Scud just because it's a Ferrari.
yea thats cool...the reason why i'll take the GTR is because its rare in the states and barely seen on the streets. As for the Ferrari goes..i always a couple of them around the club scenes and track days, but not a GTR yet..
I'm a Ferrari fan and really dissappointed with this years F1 performance. But I will go for the GT-R.. since it's launch I'm very excited. And don't forget that we are now comparing a car with an enhaced version of it's opponent. I'm going to wait for the lighter GT-R to compare those 2. Still the GR-E compares just fine with the Scuderia which in terms of looks, in my opinion the competition isn't even close (meaning Ferrari>Nissan)
This is something I am fascinated by is that a GT-R can go up against German and Italian supercars and WIN, now that is impressive, and the GT-R can beat them with a stock engine.
There are enough sensors and related computer measures on the GTR that they unfortunately take all the skill out of driving a car well. The younger crowd only know video games and statistics and drivers just like pilots will disappear into history. The art of driving will be left to women driving Nissan GTR's.

For information, Best Motoring, this Japanese TV Show have tested the 997 Turbo (fast all around GT) against the GTR (designed for quicl lap on track): the result is that the R35 win on the track BUT a GT3 is always quicker than a Turbo on track so we can say that the R35 is as quick as a GT3 with 2 turbos more, 2WD more and lots of electronics so which is better????

These are all very good track cars that are very competitive with one another...but you cant really compare a car on any given track because they are all built to be fast in different areas so whichever track consists the most of one cars strengths, that car is going to win...either way i like the GTR cuz u can buy it, have it close to those other super cars performance and still have money left over afterwords to make it faster then other supercars

Thing is, it's good for you to have such a nice car like the GTR, but I just think it's impossible to overtake those supercars of that calibre such as 430 Scuderia & Porsche just like that. That's just too easy. I've seen real racing between them, & they were side to side, only fractions of seconds to determine who wins.
The GTR35 is a great car, that's no doubt about that, with far much lower price than those of Porsche & Ferrari. But I don't really think the other cars were racing, they were on high rate of speed but not on the limit yet. The GTR35 was on full throttle, where others kinda enjoying their fast ride on track. My opinion.

A technological masterpiece is what I would describe it as. Personally I'm on the purist side of the spectrum, and minus the sequential gearbox, the Scuderia is more of a driver's car, imo.

Have you ever seen a Scuderia in person? I have on Laguna Seca when I was in Monterey. It didn't burst in flames. And trust me, there's no need to tell me about the Robusticity of German cars. I drive one.

Base 430's yeah, not a big deal I suppose, but 430 Scuds are amazing, especially from a chassis dynamics pov. Anything that can outlap an Enzo on a short track I'd say is pretty impressive. Although I'd probably buy a Porsche 917 replica before I buy any of these cars.

Sorry but the Scud and GTR both recorded identical times of 1:19.7 and they only record the power laps to the nearest 10th of a second. It might be worth mentioning that maybe on another track or with different drivers the GTR might be slightly quicker or slower than the Scud, however the thing I remember about both tests was how hugely impressed they were with both cars personally I'd be very happy with either but if someone was giving them away I'd take the Scud just because it's a Ferrari.

I'm a Ferrari fan and really dissappointed with this years F1 performance. But I will go for the GT-R.. since it's launch I'm very excited. And don't forget that we are now comparing a car with an enhaced version of it's opponent. I'm going to wait for the lighter GT-R to compare those 2. Still the GR-E compares just fine with the Scuderia which in terms of looks, in my opinion the competition isn't even close (meaning Ferrari>Nissan)

There are enough sensors and related computer measures on the GTR that they unfortunately take all the skill out of driving a car well. The younger crowd only know video games and statistics and drivers just like pilots will disappear into history. The art of driving will be left to women driving Nissan GTR's.

For information, Best Motoring, this Japanese TV Show have tested the 997 Turbo (fast all around GT) against the GTR (designed for quicl lap on track): the result is that the R35 win on the track BUT a GT3 is always quicker than a Turbo on track so we can say that the R35 is as quick as a GT3 with 2 turbos more, 2WD more and lots of electronics so which is better????

ferrarri wins in formula 1 , and built most beautifull and fast cars for the road , using most of the racing technollogy , gtr is a japanese high technollogy car , that use most of the videogame technollogy , both are differents , but ferrari has much more racing experience than nissan , and can not be compared on a real race track , with real pro drivers .

From Ferrari to Porsche, matter of fact i think see 4 Porsches just getting blown past by like it was a walk in the park. 4 Porsches and a Ferrari that should add up close to $1 million, and u have a 71k GTR killing them! These are all very good track cars that are very competitive with one another...but you cant really compare a car on any given track because they are all built to be fast in different areas so whichever track consists the most of one cars strengths, that car is going to win...either way i like the GTR cuz u can buy it, have it close to those other super cars performance and still have money left over afterwords to make it faster then other supercars

Thing is, it's good for you to have such a nice car like the GTR, but I just think it's impossible to overtake those supercars of that calibre such as 430 Scuderia & Porsche just like that. That's just too easy. I've seen real racing between them, & they were side to side, only fractions of seconds to determine who wins.

The GTR35 is a great car, that's no doubt about that, with far much lower price than those of Porsche & Ferrari. But I don't really think the other cars were racing, they were on high rate of speed but not on the limit yet. The GTR35 was on full throttle, where others kinda enjoying their fast ride on track. My opinion.
