I don't care about the Sandman, Macho Man, or even Tyson strategies as I know more or less what to do in them, but holy crap I cannot get Don 2 in under 1:30! My fastest was 1:53 on an emulator and I KNOW he can go down faster! So come on man, you gotta release part 11 of the walkthrough. Its been almost two years now and like I said I don't care about the other fighters its Don 2 that I am confused about.

I have dificulties to do a later punch against Tyson. i see other guy that tip me always begin to hit him with same hand he do uppercuts or hooks. he hit you with right uppercut . you hit him dirictly with left jab to times he will lose then more than if you hit him right. I just can make it yet i have knocking him down only 2 times in the first and tko in 1:31 in the 2 round. how you make it so precise. in slow punches. i

How did you time your punches against Tyson so perfectly? I can barely get, like, 2 strong second punches during the uppercuts, and about 3 strong punches against the jabs.

There is, but some miracles need to happen. You need to pick up a bunch of random stars along the way. It's never happened to me.

The strat shown here sucks. My next vid will show how easy he can be, as well as a really fast, reliable way. With just a little luck, you only need to deal with the taunt for a couple of seconds.

Can you explain how with Mr. Sandman, the person only punches his stomach twice when he dodges the hooks (when he could do three)?

Perhaps you should check out my tutorials before commenting on something you clearly know nothing about. These comments are getting old. Just because you suck at the game doesn't mean everyone else hasn't practiced more than you have.

1) Use proper punches on Tyson - they take off more health. I wouldn't expect you to know what they are.

2) Use delayed punches. They take off even more.

3) Research. Just because you've done the same thing since you were 4 doesn't mean you can't improve.

Yes, that is true, but he says in one of his videos that you can use any follow up punch for the proper punch as long as the punch is correctly placed.

I think on Piston Honda 2 you are too aggressive. If you keep that same strategy and don't know him down, you can KO him around the 40 second mark.

Honda tends to get frustrated around the 40 second mark, and will take 2 steps back to do his punch combo. When he thrusts forward to do his combo, punch him in the stomach and you KO him between 40-50 seconds in the first round.

I've been using your stradegy for quick knockouts but I seem to be stuck at Soda for the first round knock out. I manage to land two uppercut knock downs as suggested but then he dodges the third attempt and I end up fatigued and the round eventually ends before I can knock him out in the first round any other suggestions.

Yeah, he'll dodge the third time if you try to respond to his uppercut. Obviously, you know about the duck glitch. If you duck and body blow against BOTH of his uppercuts, then use a star, you'll catch him right during his jab and he won't dodge.

So try this: In all 3 phases, right jab against his hooks, then crouch to get him to freeze (if he goes this route) against both uppercuts and body blow both, then uppercut.

As for Macho, just try slow dodging the punch. The timing is pretty forgiving if you don't try to get cute.

This pretty much confirms my thoughts that Mr. Sandman is really the hardest fighter in the game. You have to be close to perfect to get him in one round. Nice set of vids. Good job.

While he's one of the most difficult, I just never found him to be that hard in round 1 once I got the hang of it.

I suppose different people are good at different things, but after a couple of days practicing Sandman, I got him down in round one (especially after I got the "blocked left jab/delayed right response" pattern down in phase 1), while Tyson took me months. Tyson is absolutely unforgiving while Sandman gives you some outs.

Good luck, though, and I hope these strats come in handy :)

Awesome... I am 23 and this game is an all time favorite. definitely reminds me of my childhood. this game often comes up in discussion as one of the most played and enjoyed games. even with nextGen games mike tyson's punch out is right up there. endless fun! Good video
