Korea, Denmark, Switzerland, Finland, Germany (2011), they are all such harsh places to go for vacation.

its not a draft... its a nation sponsored military training. we had it in yugoslavia before the war. only it took a year and a haldf. in korea its twio years (correct if err).
The 3 months service would most likely be like "boot camp light", no one would see combat or most likely even leave the country. Based on all available evidence this is not the draft, no one would be required to enter into a military career OR MOST IMPORTANTLY SEE COMBAT.
In Europe the countries with similar programs are not only much longer, but everyone I know who has been though them rather enjoyed the experience. They spent 6 months getting in shape and shooting guns.

The 3 months service would most likely be like "boot camp light", no one would see combat or most likely even leave the country. Based on all available evidence this is not the draft, no one would be required to enter into a military career OR MOST IMPORTANTLY SEE COMBAT.
In Europe the countries with similar programs are not only much longer, but everyone I know who has been though them rather enjoyed the experience. They spent 6 months getting in shape and shooting guns.

This is just my thought and I could be wrong but I think they want this "civilian force" active and trained for when they get rid of the 2nd amendment and there's a possibility of the shit hitting the fan. They will need more than police officers to bring order and we already have a lot of troops in other countries. Lots of states are already trying to declare limits to federal powers within their borders by using the 9th and 10th amendment.
