Bach was before tempo markings, but this one should probably have played faster; I think I was practicing control than what I would do in a performing context.
yeah i understand, and i was refering to the way it should be played, in this case Vivace which means more lively. i know you're practicing in this video
you might wanna keep on practicing to make it faster. and try to add more texture and dynamics. for example, you didn't use ANY of the stoccato where you were supposed to. and the volume was the same throughout the entire song. just keep on working on it!
Nice work. Could be a bit faster, but if you played it slowly intentionally it was great; very clear. By the way, at the beginning, there were a few sections where you played legato when it should have been staccato.
lol, people care too much about speed, but you can play it a couple of clicks faster on the metrinome(sorry for spelling). BRAVO. This song is hard to learn.
True...speed impresses no one, but of course, this is played under tempo a bit, but better to play it cleanly and correctly as you are doing than fast and messy :)
I am replying to myself. It should be played at at least 120.( quarter notes ) I was trying to sound musically smart lol. Good job by the way. hard song, but not too hard. You have to give it steady practice though.
The interpretation is the kind I like, bit legato but not to much... keep up the good work. For those who find the speed to slow, they might be writh, but hey, who will tell. This is Bach, and as far as I know, he never gave speed indications on the inventions... Any recomendation on speed was not written by Bach but added afterwards.
well played, but if you want to be better, keep playing that tempo but add the dynamics and movements. after that, play the piece at allegro. time yourself, you should play it in no more than one minute. keep up the good work :)
Why are everybody soo bitchy about the tempo? You obviously like music. Carry on!
