yes it has alot to offer but hell u need to spend so much time . at some point i feel like going out into real world and work was more fun, since u get real money for it too.

@TheBladeKnight12 yes its you are right im just telling u my game experience, i spend like 3hours till i got my 1st mine running splendid then i have the choice to say, hell man i just cheat and get me money or i leave my pc on overnight to get it the legal way, but since i wanna protect environment i chose path one which makes me walk a morally questionable path of gaming. if u look for an awesome space fight sim try freespace 2open. this game is very trade heavy. just sayin.

@TheRaellz hijacking ships is not that easy and the training for your soldiers is very expensive.

I would start with stations or what I did buy and train many universetraders.

ich habe x3tc seit kurzem, kenn mich also noch net so aus. du benutzt 2 verscheidene waffentypen aber ich sehe nur eine und zwar die weißen. dann wollte ich fragen wie du in diese sicht gekommen boist bei mir gibts nur f1 also 1st person, f2 ist genau hinter dem schiff, und wenn man 0 drückt sieht man das so vorbeifliegen, aber wie macht man das das man so sieht wie du also in der 3rd person? oder geht das nur bei großschiffen (ich hab bis jetzt nur die merkur und nen gekaperten discoverer-angr.

@freeway996 Die andere Waffe sind Flak-Geschütze, welche sehr gut gegen kleine Jäger ist, da sie sehr schnell schießt.

Die Sicht bekommst du per F2. Du kannst sie dann per Numblock bewegen.

@ChromeHaw No, it was no godmode it were my 4x 2 GJ shields. At the ende there were at 73%.

So basically, you start out with a small ship, and you work yourself upwards into commanding a huge battlecruiser... in that case, are the smaller ships controlled by npc's? an what about the turrets of the cruiser? do they auto aim?

@Akrilloth There are many small ships controlled by npcs but there are also big battlecruisers controlled by npcs.

Also you can control small and big ships yourself.

The turrets do automatically aim but you can also aim manually.

It's very complex and interesting.

The beginning can be a bit booring without jumdive and SETA (Singularity Time Accelerator) but if you did the start it gets very funny.

@Akrilloth I highly recommend this game. If you like "Sandbox" games, flying around in spaceships, building stuff, do missions... this is perfect for you. And if you find it hard to understand, there is a huge and helpful community to ask for advice. I bought this game and didn't play anything else for over 6+ months, its THAT good. Very steep learningcurve, but once you get into it, its fun.

@PorkCh0pExpr3ss Its like EVE on Singelplayer mode. I played EVE for 6 years, and went directly to this because i got tired of backstabbing alliances and cowards.

And CCP's version of "survival of the strongest" is the one with most NAP's...

Just make sure you buy the RETAIL version because you're gonna need the manual.

Well, when you get close to them, they start to do damage to you (just shields i think, never tested it my self) they take off about 10% as "entering planet atmosphere" i think, but iv seen many a NPC go pop off in the distance when near one.

@greatlance14 All the animated ones (with the atmosphere rotating and stuff) are actual 3D objects you can fly around if you really feel inclined to. Not that much point to it, though, as there's nothing to find around them. If you get too close you start taking damage, too, so you have to fly a large circle around them.

You can fly as much arround them as you wish ( Without speeding up the time it would take alot of time to get arround :) ), even go out of the map.. never tried to go way out of the map myself. Really great game, but have to be patient as your army slowly develops.. Untill you get the jump drive the game is so boring becouse of all the slow flying arround and not being able to do many missions but once you get the jump drives the game gets awesome..
