In about 1967 there was an excursion train of 5 Boston & Maine RDCs that came through Wilton and went all the way to the end of the line, which was at Lyndeborough or Greenfield, NH. That branch line was part of the B&M in those days. I think the train was sponsored by New England or Mass Bay RRE; not totally sure. Somewhere I may still have snapshots of that. Alas neither video tape nor digital vids had been invented and Super 8s or other "home movies" were cumbersome and too expensive!

I'm glad I got to ride this train before it went away. The RDCs went to the Newport Dinner Train so I want to go there and ride them.
