Not sure if anyone ever mentioned this in this thread, but one of the best ways to avoid debris getting under the screen protector is to apply it in the bathroom after running shower for a few minutes (it pulls the duck out of the air and gives you "clean room" of sorts for a short period of time). If that is not possible then mist the air with a spay bottle of water and apply it on a table that is freshly wiped down with a wet cloth.

Here's a tip - Pull back the layer that protects the adhesive side, and cut a centimeter off, exposing about a centimeter tall area of adhesive along the entire length of the protector. Align it from the top down (or vice versa if you decide to cut a cm off the top instead), and once you find that it is aligned properly, let the adhesive make contact with the screen. It should lay flat, but the majority of the protector hasn't stuck onto the device. Simply make sure it is aligned, and pull back.

The more you rub a matte screen protector with a plastic card, trying to get rid of bubbles, the more you'll polish the matte surface and make it more reflective!

Always use a piece of plastic that is as soft and flexible as possible, and don't keep rubbing back and forth!!

@DJariko Mac OS X os a 10" screen would be unusable... I can barely use it on my 13" MacBook... And putting both Mac OS X and iPhone software would be completely stupid... i would just confuse everyone... As for the keyboard, you can connect a keyboard to the iPad.

I don't use screen protectors because I think they look ugly, the glass is oleo-phobic, I can't see fingerprints when the screen is on, and I don't see how people scratch their screens, it's glass, my keys don't even scratch it...

@DigitalStudent well at least on my brothers 13" MacBook ,Mac OS X is usable what I've tested it sometimes, and of course Apple would make a little bit lighter OS for such a small "netbook" as you can see there is ligther versions of Ubuntu for example for netbooks.

And yeah u can have the keyboard to iPad but thats one more gadget, and I don't like that I have to buy billions of different accessories to get all performance out of my device. I like good all in one design more, much more usable

I had the Zagg Invisible Shield for my iPad. I messed up the installation but that didn't really matter. First of all, it makes the screen look splotchy (not air bubbles, just how it reflects light) Secondly, It makes the screen "sticky" and its not easy to glide your finger across.
