@zeadsi well their old band was At The Drive In. So they sound a lot like them haha. There is a band called Protect the Hero. Now they are very much metal but listen to the song sequoia throne.  There is very much some mars volta coming out of them. Coheed And Cambria are also in ways similar to them.
