this is definitely my favourite film, even though it always makes me cry, it hits a part of me that wants peace and none of the characters to be hurt any more

it allows me to understand the feeling of loss and grief

because thats what the film does

through the music and the characters, you get close to the characters see them as friends and feel every thing they do

a good film can always do that

make you feel

make you live

make you grieve

make you cry

be part of some thing you never would

I actually love this movie (and your video of course) and the first time I watched it I was soo creeped out but now it's just awesome. Something they never explained in the movie was that she was raped as well as murder. But once again, I LOVED YOU VIDEO :)

@jamsters13 It's vaguely inferred that she was raped but yeah, it wasn't clear. I guess rape would have been the wrong side of harrowing for a film not intended for an 18+ certificate.

I still find the film deeply unsettling even now. I'm hoping that doing these videos will get it out of my system. Or perhaps not...

At the end you see him as a slightly older man and he falls and dies, but I found it pretty unsatisfying (both in the book and the film, as he has the same fate in both) - he has such a quick death. He never got what he deserved.
