@103peanut maybe he tried to defend the white one at the beginning.. Or I'd rather say those animals are quite mean by nature. I remember when I was a child one of them was my ennemy. It's quite impressive for a small children because those animals tend to push you with the head even if you feed them.

@103peanut the goat was just mean for no reason. I think they needed a subplot to provide a solution to the other plots (Lois and Hal arguing, Dewey and Malcolm trapped in the tiger cave). Not only did it help Dewey and Malcolm escape, but the "In your face goat," was the best and most hilarious scene of any TV show ever.
