Sadly, YouTube won't let me post links to references (gives error messages), but part of the results are summarized in "Quantity Food Sanitation, 5th Ed" by Gertrude Armbruster, the main author of the Cornell studies.
The reason nutrients are lost at all is because of heat denaturation of proteins and vitamins, which is a process that occurs in ALL cooking methods. Most studies I looked over showed microwaving resulted in the least denaturation.
I hear you Math and I'm requesting that you TRUST me on this. Using a microwave will denature any food, such that your body does not recognise it. The food will not smell, taste or be processed the same. You are only as healthy as HOW your body processes foods/products. In your video, in your infinite wisdom, you incorrectly attribute the mechanism of heating and nutrient loss to beta-electron bombardment. This is completely absurd, and anyone who knows how a microwave works can tell you otherwise. Finally, I'd like to add that as a "maths person", I am not at all "out of my depth" on technical matters like these.
Microwaves can still be dangerous, but only if you're getting hit by microwaves. Food is ok.
I'm delighted to hear you can see things from a different prospective...to the degree you'd like to.
The German's early 20th Century discovered how using microwaves to warm troops increased cancer rates! We agree on that-dangerous. So if you're consuming something 'alive' like a veg, how can using microwaves by OK? Foods are NOT ok. Any protein structure will convert into a beta-protein not recognised by ones body, plus loss in micronutrients.
@magnusmulliner Your logic is flawed. Just because microwaving a human being increased their rates of getting cancer this does not mean that eating foods that have been microwaved would give us cancer. A human being could actually eat a plate full of cancerous tissue and it would be just fine, since cancer is just normal cells growing out of control. Microwaving humans could affect proteins > immune system > causing cancer. A steamed or boiled human would get cancer too!!
Thank you Andrew. My point was that using micro-waves disrupts natural, normal cellular functioning, whether that be in a human or a plant. After listening to the "World Cancer Summit" recordings I was reminded that there was a study showing the effect on a human's immune system after consuming raw, steamed/cooked and or microwaved foods. White blood cell count and NK cells were reduced once micro foods were eaten. Basically their immune system was compromised for many hours. Q More research?
I was not aware of the use of microwaves in restaurants. A friend of mine always asks if the restaurant uses microwaves for heating up, and if they say yes, he either orders them to not have his food come in touch with microwave or he leaves the restaurant and looks for another one. That is good to make restaurant owners aware.
Dear KarinOll, you share a truth. They do and they don't provide us with any real benefit. Sadly so many people are ignorant to the destructive nature of microwaves. I was on a course over the weekend and a beautiful woman 'chose' to heat her 'healthy' packaged soup still in its plastic container...
LOL1 electron bombardment is beta radiation, *not* microwave radiation. (doh!)
LOL2 microwaving your cloth kills the bacteria in the cloth, *not* on the surface (doh!)
LOL3 microwaving cannot change or remove minerals or elements (doh!), elements are only changed by *nuclear* radiation (which *microwave* radiation isn't)
Dear wolfekeeper, thank you for sharing your facts. You reminded me of one great howler.. My former professor in Oxford once said "Why is it that everytime I open my mouth some fool speaks?" We all laughed at him! After we finsihed our LOL's. He laughed. We then figured out who the fool was... Q: Where in your life does 'factual' information hold you back and stop you from being the man you could be? It's a rhetorical Q. Dont become too factual with it. Sending infinite love and gratitude Magnus
@magnusmulliner microwaves emit radio waves, not electrons. water is a covalent bond between 2 hydrogen and 1 oxygen. the nature of the 2 different elements and they way they bond you end up with a polar molecule. microwaves emit radio-waves at a certain frequency that cause polar molecules to vibrate. the vibration causes the item to heat up.
microwave can break down molecules that are heat sensitive. boil vitamin c or microwave vitamin c and it will be destroyed.
Many thanks dayvenright. I truly appreciate the corrections to my basic hasty presentation, which was to inspire people to make smarter lifestyle choices.
We both agree that much damage is done to whatever is placed in a microwave. We've known for years that using these radio waves can lead to all sorts of malfunctioning cells/organs.
Yeah, it's obvious you study chemistry and radiation at OSU, especially considering your account description says you're an army sergeant who "runs a Punk Rock and Reggae band and studies Psychology."
Thank you for sharing. I usually say to people, don't buy into any of my BS (BeLIEf Systems) find out if there's truth in it. In my opinion you're making a massive smart shift in taking control of your health. Congratulations. You may find more truths on your new journey. I'm off to Birmingham to 'remind' people how to take control of their states of mind.
Dear 4246theone, you raise a good point and it can be seen form many different angles. I personally don't think it is 'deliberate' act, however the main goal of any company is keep the shareholders happy!
Our physical body's can take some hits and survive, if we have good depositis in our Health Bank Account. Therefore pointing one finger at just microwaves may not be true. It's all about balance. Using a microwave will turn any food into POISON. Dead, dysfunctional, denatured products. Love M
Dude please study chemistry first?....or better yet explain to me how an electron...a single particle behaves like a wave?.... ;P
Are you actually joking?....polarization has everything to do with it........wax will not heat in a microwave, why?....because the molecules are hydrocarbon alkanes...sigh...which are NON POLAR!!!
My reply isnt poorly worded..at least I know what im talking about and dont just take more wrong information from all the clippings I can get from the internet lol
That's basically it Joe. Educating people... to the degree they want to be educated. Many once again are STUCK with all 'programmings' that don't serve them from parents, teachers, pedagogical figure heads, etc and they are not open to learning. I believe with an increase in knowledge comes an increase in responsibility. We're able to respond differently, instead of behaving like lemmings!
It's interesting watching, listening and feeling my emotions when I receive positive and negative feedback.
Some people are stuck, addicted, upset/angry, delighted, ego driven, etc... and I'm still talking about me;-)
Seriously though I'd love for more people like you and me to get that microwaves, teflon, dirty electricity, big pharma drugs, fluoride, sugar, gluten, pasteurisation, etc take away from our lifeline, or compromise our immune systems.
I am sorry to say this, but I can put you right on all the things you said about microwaves. As frankly, some of it is just complete lies?
1. Microwaves heat by electromagnetic waves, NOT electron "bombarding"!!!!!!...these waves are are just energy that exhibit a wave like behaviour as they move.
2. NOT all things can be heated in a microwave!!....the molecules need to be polar (have an imbalanced charge) in order to be able to be heated.
Thank you Headphones. Bottom line you cook anything (I have my words you have yours) in a microwave (foods, liquids, etc) you'll kill the bacteria, enzymes, trace elements, vitamins, etc and you'll change the structure of the protein.
Here's my Q for you... did you make any changes in your life after hearing and seeing what I shared or do you still use a microwave for anything other than I mentioned?
@headphones222 I think you missed the point. We don't need to pedantically argue the exact mechanism by which the food is altered, to be able to see that its not good for our healths. The end result is a more important- the nutrional benefit of the food is compromised.
@headphones222 maybe we're looking at it from different paradigms. I see someone who values his health and wants to share the information to be helpful. Perhaps, you're a technical physics type a person? Maybe, you're focusing on the details of the method of the microwave instead of embracing the overall message he's trying to put across. How about the simple fact that enzymes are destroyed by microwaves. In my personal opinion microwaved contributes towards cancer processes.
Dear waroftheworldseu, good point succinctly put, but microwaves also change the structure of proteins and remove/destry vitamins, minerals, trace elements, etc. Bottom line using a microwave to cook anything will 'kill' it and in order for it to be absorbed, digested, assimilated and eliminated from you, these micro foods will cost you more than they deliver in the way of nutrients.

@derpestarzt yes, that's why I like to juice raw vegetables. However, I didn't use the words "alters the property of food" or anything similar in any of my posts that I can see.
@headphones222 I think you missed the point. We don't need to pedantically argue the exact mechanism by which the food is altered, to be able to see that its not good for our healths. The end result is a more important- the nutrional benefit of the food is compromised.

Great video magnus. Those are indeed the threats to humans in the 21st. century. Cell phones, Microwaces, Teflon, genetic modification etc. We live in a world ruled by elitist aristocrats who subdue the people by means of propaganda. Most of the people I explained it to about the adverse health effect are willfully ignorant and do not care. We are a minority among the sheeple. Good work keep it up.
I would agree with your additional statements too. We truly have become unconscious and lost in this highly, wondrous technical world. Our health is not priority...until we reach signs and symptoms.
My gran bought her first microwave in 1985. She still uses it and knows the harm it causes to foods, environment, etc.
Only to the degree we want to change will we!
Thank you for your feedback and keep sharing your love and passion too.
No doubt but I think your body can handle some crappy food now and then. Then again I've been known to enjoy a beer and a joint so health is not always my first priority.
Speaking of which, I have never seen your views on marijuana. Nevermind the smoking part, of course that is bad, but what concern do you have with its psychoactive part? In my experience in is certainly no worse than alcohol on the brain but I have to roll my eyes when someone says it is good for you and we need it to live.
When you say it can handle, you're right... no one goes to their Dr because they over ate on General Mills Cheerios once! You got to work at it. My Q. What is driving you/people to put the wrong fuel in your engine? It's all about be indoctrinated/brainwashed/conditioned, etc, by the media. If you put a small amount of petrol in a diesel it too is likely to be ok, but would you do that?
Marijuana - it all depends on how it was grown (loving environment). It is another plant that can be used...
to 'escape' and there are some positive factors/effects connected with it. As you said it's the other stuff you generally may add to it, that's not 'healthy'.
The government tries to 'control' it so like always it can make money. Think about it... Sugar is a Class A drug, yet socially acceptable to use! It's been accepted for at least 240+ years and is so ubiquitous. And because 99% of the population is addicted to it and they don't even know they are addicted to it... interesting hey!
I have noticed microwaves are good at making things less spicy, and I find it seems to reduce the caffeine content of coffee. I agree with what you say but I think it is ok to use a microwave when you are in a hurry, they are certainly fast. But food from them tastes and looks pretty bland and mushy. I like to have a microwave around for when i want it but other than that I agree with you.
Many thanks ArcaneInquisitor for your comments. It's all about the MEANING in our lives. When something is quick and easy, ask a question - How come? The German's during the 2nd WW and the Russians discovered that using microwaves to keep them warm caused cancer... Interesting. Once you 'nuke' any food you change the structure. That means your body is more challenged to Absorb, digest, assimilate and eliminate it. I believe 'you're worth it' and you have a smarter choice to make. Sending love M
Okay so say I grill a hamburger? Doesnt the beef lose nutrients that way? But I guess even if it does the remainder of nutrients is recognizable to the body because people have done that for thousands of years. So that being said if I cook a steak over fire and then microwave it the next day...I'm causing some trouble for body?
Spot on! I think we've been cooking our foods for about 125,000 years+. Yes you will lose some of the micronutrients and if you do cook over a fire, ensure it doesn't turn it black! Microwaves completely destroy all life (micronutrients + Macro - Proteins & Fat structures) in any food. You're catching on. Sending love
Great Q. I know we 'spoke' on FB. I use Glass/Ceramic, Cast iron, stoneware and or a good stainless steal pans. As I stated on FB, both iron and stainless steal pans may leach chemicals like iron, nickel and or chromium.
Find what works best for you, use Dr Mercola's website.
Thank you for asking, create a great 2010 and beyond, with love and chi
Very informative. You got me thinking about 2 things:
1. If I gave someone a microwave as wedding gift, should I get it back ff them as I may harm them?
2. My chilodren go to nursery where they have a teflon coated microwave and they have a pet hamster who's cage was right by it. The hamster died lastw eek. Do you think I should tell the manager of your site to warn them or should I find another nursery?
Great Q! It took me a while to get that. And Yes I wanted to, but then guess what I was doing? Controlling others and putting my BS onto them. They know why I was giving it away and they didn't have the same beLIEfs and values about using it+is it true that microwaves do what they do? You and I would say Yes! We must be 'right'! With more knowledge comes a greater sense of responsibility, or response - able. The best advice you can take is your own. I would however tell them, but that's me! ThkU
The thing is don't have an expectation that they will LISTEN to you. Sure you could remove your children, but then, what are you teaching them? When it becomes too hot, check out!? only one idea. Find out how open they are to listening and or acting on your ideas! Depending on your context most people are open to suggestions, ideas and the like. All depends how they were raised/conditioned, etc. Sending love
Thank you for watching and listening. The information is out there for us to take control of our wellbeing. Uncle Sam and the Brit Government are all about 'corporate' taking NOT being to service - giving. I think we might have got lost since 1776! It's all good. Create a great 2010 and beyond, with love and Qi MM
Many thanks Mike! It's funny, before I actually become a CHEK HLC practitioner in 2004, I paid >£350 on a microwave. After I completed the programme I got rid of it + like you (exactly on time!) I removed my Teflon pans. All the best with your new lifestyle choices.
what's wrong with aluminum?

Great Q.
It's toxic to the human body. None of our 100 trillion cells or even 400 trillion bacteria in our stomach require any form of Al.
You'll no doubt bee aware of the research showing that it leads to Alzheimer's dis-ease and cancer.

A human being could actually eat a plate full of cancerous tissue and it would be just fine, since cancer is just normal cells growing out of control. Microwaving humans could affect proteins > immune system > causing cancer. A steamed or boiled human would get cancer too!!
andrewinfrisco 2 months ago

And they also leak radiation - the microwaves ...
KarinOll 4 months ago

There's lots of other howlers as well.
wolfekeeper 8 months ago
Dear wolfekeeper, thank you for sharing your facts. You reminded me of one great howler.. My former professor in Oxford once said "Why is it that everytime I open my mouth some fool speaks?" We all laughed at him! After we finsihed our LOL's. He laughed. We then figured out who the fool was... Q: Where in your life does 'factual' information hold you back and stop you from being the man you could be? It's a rhetorical Q. Dont become too factual with it. Sending infinite love and gratitude Magnus
magnusmulliner 8 months ago

Keep sharing your passion,
Sending love

Sending compassionate love to all lemmings.
Thank you for being a great crusader.

Much love and Qi M

I am sorry to say this, but I can put you right on all the things you said about microwaves. As frankly, some of it is just complete lies?
1. Microwaves heat by electromagnetic waves, NOT electron "bombarding"!!!!!!...these waves are are just energy that exhibit a wave like behaviour as they move.
2. NOT all things can be heated in a microwave!!....the molecules need to be polar (have an imbalanced charge) in order to be able to be heated.
headphones222 1 year ago
Thank you Headphones. Bottom line you cook anything (I have my words you have yours) in a microwave (foods, liquids, etc) you'll kill the bacteria, enzymes, trace elements, vitamins, etc and you'll change the structure of the protein.
Here's my Q for you... did you make any changes in your life after hearing and seeing what I shared or do you still use a microwave for anything other than I mentioned?
Create a great loving day

@headphones222 I think you missed the point. We don't need to pedantically argue the exact mechanism by which the food is altered, to be able to see that its not good for our healths. The end result is a more important- the nutrional benefit of the food is compromised.
waroftheworldseu 10 months ago
LoL....are you missing the absurd way he quotes it does it?....when it certainly doesnt............. it does not cause cancer or anything...
headphones222 10 months ago
@headphones222 maybe we're looking at it from different paradigms. I see someone who values his health and wants to share the information to be helpful. Perhaps, you're a technical physics type a person? Maybe, you're focusing on the details of the method of the microwave instead of embracing the overall message he's trying to put across. How about the simple fact that enzymes are destroyed by microwaves. In my personal opinion microwaved contributes towards cancer processes.
waroftheworldseu 10 months ago
Dear waroftheworldseu, good point succinctly put, but microwaves also change the structure of proteins and remove/destry vitamins, minerals, trace elements, etc. Bottom line using a microwave to cook anything will 'kill' it and in order for it to be absorbed, digested, assimilated and eliminated from you, these micro foods will cost you more than they deliver in the way of nutrients.
Enjoy
Magnus

Great video magnus. Those are indeed the threats to humans in the 21st. century. Cell phones, Microwaces, Teflon, genetic modification etc. We live in a world ruled by elitist aristocrats who subdue the people by means of propaganda. Most of the people I explained it to about the adverse health effect are willfully ignorant and do not care. We are a minority among the sheeple. Good work keep it up.
Wollonga 1 year ago
Thank you Wollonga,
I would agree with your additional statements too. We truly have become unconscious and lost in this highly, wondrous technical world. Our health is not priority...until we reach signs and symptoms.
My gran bought her first microwave in 1985. She still uses it and knows the harm it causes to foods, environment, etc.
Only to the degree we want to change will we!
Thank you for your feedback and keep sharing your love and passion too.

is cooking in a crock pot bad for you ?
jw2par 1 year ago
Dear jw2par, great Q. NOT at all. Having said that it would depend on what you put in it!!
Add anything that Mother Nature has provided on this planet for thousands of years and let it cook.
Check to see that your crock pot doesn't have a Teflon or aluminium coating on the inside.
Have fun

No doubt but I think your body can handle some crappy food now and then. Then again I've been known to enjoy a beer and a joint so health is not always my first priority.
Speaking of which, I have never seen your views on marijuana. Nevermind the smoking part, of course that is bad, but what concern do you have with its psychoactive part? In my experience in is certainly no worse than alcohol on the brain but I have to roll my eyes when someone says it is good for you and we need it to live.
ArcaneInquisitor 1 year ago
When you say it can handle, you're right... no one goes to their Dr because they over ate on General Mills Cheerios once! You got to work at it. My Q. What is driving you/people to put the wrong fuel in your engine? It's all about be indoctrinated/brainwashed/conditioned, etc, by the media. If you put a small amount of petrol in a diesel it too is likely to be ok, but would you do that?
Marijuana - it all depends on how it was grown (loving environment). It is another plant that can be used...
magnusmulliner 1 year ago
to 'escape' and there are some positive factors/effects connected with it.

ArcaneInquisitor 1 year ago
Many thanks ArcaneInquisitor for your comments. It's all about the MEANING in our lives. When something is quick and easy, ask a question - How come? The German's during the 2nd WW and the Russians discovered that using microwaves to keep them warm caused cancer... Interesting. Once you 'nuke' any food you change the structure. That means your body is more challenged to Absorb, digest, assimilate and eliminate it. I believe 'you're worth it' and you have a smarter choice to make. Sending love M
magnusmulliner 1 year ago
Okay so say I grill a hamburger? Doesnt the beef lose nutrients that way? But I guess even if it does the remainder of nutrients is recognizable to the body because people have done that for thousands of years. So that being said if I cook a steak over fire and then microwave it the next day...I'm causing some trouble for body?
theUSER101 1 year ago
