First of all, I didn't really polish them except to get any dirt off of them. Second, I just rub both shoes together to make that cool squeaky noise.

(LOL!) I'm glad you liked it! Actually, my brother-in-law had a couple pairs of these when he was in the army back in the 80s and 90s, and my heart used to throb when I saw him wearing his dress shoes.
