  • At 1:57 u see Tako Luka at the top left corner. XD

  • Besides the normal "Woah!" factor, I have to say I truly like the nixie tube clock too. Proof that whoever made this is truly 100% awesome in all regards!

  • 初めまして。

    ニコニコ動画に参加してる者です。

    動画を見る分では本の数分ですが、こんなに苦労してるとは知らず、とても素晴らしいものが出来ましたね。

    早速、お気に入りに入れました。

  • I think this is pretty nifty stuff ^_^ I was thinking how the video was done. I first thought it was done all on computer XD but did research and saw it was done stop motion... a technique that hasn't been used much in filming since CGI had taken over :\

  • @Deadboy360 This isn't how the actual video was made, the actual one was really made through CGI. This one was made a while after the actual one was done.

  • やってみたいと思ったけど

    動画→画像の変換の仕方が分からん…

    変換フリーソフトないかな?

  • @helloweenlove you can use mplayer.

    mplayer file.mp4 -vo png

    outputs all frames into png format.

  • @starwarsstudio I'm not sure if anyone answered your question on the song at 2:00. It's a Hatsune Miku version of "Town" from the game Idolm@ster. It's the theme used for the weekly Nico douga rankings.

  • This guy is incredible.

  • 2:00

    tako luka :D

  • World Record!

  • can someone translate?

  • @reincarnage256 i tried it. but it is selected passages.

    00:01 hi, i'm the one who uploaded it.

    00:06 thank you for various(;p) comments.

    00:11 i want you to see only the result as an image work, but for some reason, i roughly explain the production process.

    00:16 *attention, this video is making of "Bad apple stop motion PV".

    00:21 1. the motive of production.

    *please pardon poor writing

  • 00:24 i had hope to make a stop motion animation since the grade-schooler.

    in those days, there was no CG, but stop motion animations were used for TV programs for children well, and i wanted to try these kind of things someday.

    i think that often used clay, paper, small articles, and daily necessaries instead of cel animation.

    00:32 nowadays, it is only occasionally used as special effects for making an impact but in old times it had been usually broadcast every day.

  • 00:40 after that, n × 10 years already, i noticed that i had high-speed PC, large capacity HDD, and the USB camera etc., the environment that was able to take a picture, confirm, retake, edit and play was already at hand.

    there was only doing, i began to make this animation for such reasons.

  • -skip-

    00:57 this time, i tried the snapshot animation for the first time. and, when the rashness of the chosen theme was noticed, it was already too late…

    but i'm glad, even though it took many time, it was completed…

    i had begun to do because I didn't know…

    what was such serious work…

    01:40 2. the taking a picture place : only on the desk.

    because i am corporate employee who can allot produce time only during about one hour on the weekday, it is necessary to preserve the situation completely when the work is interrupted.

    -skip-

    02:15 dimmer

    for brightness adjustment of lighting

  • -skip-

    03:18 at this time, the outside of the scene at both ends has been cut by about 2milli by the problem of the printing area of the printer.

    i noticed it while cutting out papers.

    the cause which the horizontal size of the papers change in the animation is this.

    -skip-

    03:52 the PC screen and the camera image are these.

    red graffiti is the sign of registration. the figure and the object are matched on the screen.

  • -skip-

    04:51 the image is made white with the lighting.

    -skip-

    06:15 thus, if you have a PC, stop motion animations are easily possible.

    try a stop motion animation.

  • Very good

  • I have no fking idea, but my guess would be:

    1) They downloaded an HD version of the video;

    2) Used some sort of capture/play-back program that takes frame-by-frame still shots;

    3) Compiled all of them into a picture editor, stacking up them up in like a 4x10 frames per page arrangement;

    4) Printed all the pages out;

    5) Then use a cutter to separate the individual frames;

    6) Then the rest is just arranging and shooting the pieces, then stringing them back into a video and uploaded it onto Nico.
