Unfortunately it wasn't a joke for people of Southern VT (of all places for a hurricane right?), some got their cars and houses washed away. i am from Eastern NY and there are still a ton of roads flooded.

I live in NYC and where I was some trees got knocked over nothing to bad but in the city next to us where it's closer to the beach the ocean water came in and people had to evacuate. Many people who live in NYC evacuated and went to Vermont to their vacation homes only to find it worse there. They had major flooding and damage.

He died trying to save her and they both got swept away in the car with the water. if she would have listened to the warning this would of not have happened. It's good to take them seriously just to be on the safe side.
