To bring laughter to millions is, in my opinion, the mark of a true saint. A very hard childhood sculpted Norman into the most humble, talented,gracious and giving of performers, desperate to be loved, and desperate to love. A true comedy master. in my view after charlie chaplain he was the greatest comedian in the history of cinema. a true legend and a perfect gentleman i belong to a non english very faraway country but i have never enjoyed watching any one than this great legend. many actors around the world tried to imitate him but failed to do i was actually surprised that why was he knighted so late. in my view all the original great comedy came from England and really amazed that very few people have watched these videos !!!

Norman is still with us. He lives in a Care Home on the Isle of Man. A very talented man.
