i just wanted to write to say a lot of people dont agree with this song choice but i think if you forget what the song ment to trent rezner and place some of the songs content to heath ledger its quite fitting.the part about wearing a crown of thorns is defo the way he looked at the papparzzi and maybe a weight of expectation on him that he constantly felt he had to deliver due to the demanding roles he took. he never chose the easy way and constantly challanged himself 4 that i admire him.

i totally agree.
i also saw him the first time in "10 things i hate about you". i was not really a fanatic fan but i really liked movies with heath.
and i was so shocked when i heard it on the news. it hurt although i never really knew him personally.

fine. use Trent Reznor's most personal song about his depression, social anxiety disorder, alcoholism and heavy drug addiction to commemorate someone who was in a completely different situation; one that you have no understanding of. makes sense to me, cause clearly their lives are exactly the same. do you realise that you are unintentionally implying that all of what is in the song is true of Heath Ledger? you are Damning Heath, not commemorating him.

i think you are thinking way too deeply into it. i understand what the song meant originally dude but ignoring the nine inch nails original meaning, it could be interpreted in different ways such as him unintentionally hurting himself with sleeping pills or anxiety pills or the combination of the two. if you really look so deeply into it and give such a crap about the song lyrics, why don't you make your own video and stop bringing your negative vibe to the comments.

im sorry where is there anything to suggest an accidental overdose in that song? clearly you put no thought into choosing that song, and it's very innappropriate and could lead anyone to think that he was self harming and suicidal, not to mention a drug addict. I dont think i'm 'thinking too much' into "i hurt myself today, to see if I still feel" and "the needle drags a hole". sounds pretty obvious to me. I just dont want your video making people think he was something he isnt.

Millions of people die needlessly and of no fault of their own everyday, this guy does something to himself and NOW we have a tragedy to care about. Nice. I started crying inside when I found out that he was dead. He was so great! Every movie he stars in is good. omg, I can't believe he's gone. It was a big surprise and really not a good one. i feel so sorry for his daughter and his family. And he was so young! This feels so unreal. I will really miss him.

i chose this song because it was literally 30 minutes after he passed and it was a very mellow and chill song. it wasn't meant to imply suicide at all. it's to show the tragedy of what happened.
