Erica, you should spent like a 4 weeks studying money flow and wealth regarding resources and productivity. Our "wealth" (US citizen) is an illusion...wealth or ownership rest with a very few elites. And they want you to further their cause of "total globalization". The poverty is created by making loans to the poor countries, knowing they will forever only be able to pay interest...the lender owns, the debtor slaves. Be careful about what you promote!

Do a search..the US gives more money to many third world countries then anyone else. The problem is alot of the time that money doesn't even reach those that need it the most due to their government being corrupt and stealing it. I think its pathic we have to have FOOD donations here for children that go hungry on weekends when school is out...we can't even fix our own problems let alone anyone else's...

ummm, wrong dude, the US gives less than one-tenth of 1 percent for foreign aid, and yes, corrupt foreign goverments dont' give it to the people , but many of those corrupt govts are supported by the US
