i live there!!my best friend spencer johnson lost hi basment an main floor including..kitchen bathroom livingroom bedroom landry room. so fuck you all who say it wasnt a big deal!!it was a bg deal!!!!!!1
I stopped through Rushford recently on my way to LaCrosse and was amazed at the recovery that took place there.
I am more than certain that the tenacity and faith of these folks carried them through. The people of New Orleans could learn from Rushford and the flood-you don't recover by sitting in your FEMA trailer eating watermelon.
I'm sorry if i offend anyone, but i constantly hear from other towns and cities in our area say they got hit the worst, i heard someone say that Goodview got hit the worst, i'm sorry, but we lost 3/4 of our town. Just about every store, every house, and every memory. We are still trying to recover, were doing good now. But it still and never will be the same. Alot of places got more the 5 feet of water in their house, including me.
That was soo sad...everybody in Rushford and LaCrosse and even ppl in Winona are still trying to fix there homes and lives. even i lost somethin in the flood. =[
the pictures at 7 minutes and 4 seconds is pictures of my home after the flood, that is my living rooom, and spare bedroom, taken from the dining room.
helped clean up and just that sucks so think of that point of view 10 times worse and then it's pbly even with losing ur home and having to go through the "afterwards" so please.. whoever the fuck(excuse my language) "smileyboy5" is.. please just stop the "bad-mouthing" about rushford.. cuz being probably older and smarter than you.. you've probably never been there
LOL actually. I went to school there for about 2 months and helped build a house in rushford village. I'm from winona so I'm not that far away. Most of the people there are assholes to n e one that isn't from there. I'm sooo glad I'm out of the midwest and never coming back. all of you assholes can jack each other off for an eternity in your po-dunk lil town. So yes i have been there. N i can tell you that most people from winona hate your shitty little town. Sry jus tell'n the truth.
i completely agree with "ihatebandreallybad" whoever would write something like "smileyboy5" is a comeplete jerk for saying that.. rushford is a community of amazing people... and if i was a rude and immature person like "smileyboy5" i would say the exact same thing back if your town was flooded or wish that it would but i'm not going to... even though i didn't lose my home i know what its like to have to go through the "afterwards" because some of my family and friends lost their homes and i
"Smily Boy 5" What kind of person are you? I lost my home in Rushford Minnesota and i can say that i will NEVER EVER wish that to happen to anyone..no matter how big of "assholes" or "pricks" they are.. NEVER! Grow Up!
