Also Tekken 6 makes up for all the bads of the other ones, such as special attacks and using objects to fight your character like guns which is way more fun than anything you will ever get out of bland old DOA. It's good, but not better than Tekken, at least Tekken characters are customizable, have good storylines, and original. All DOA girls look the same. THATS BORING!

Xiaoyu is my favourite of the two. She's got so much more personaility in comparison to Lei Fang. I think Lei Fang is so flat in terms of personaility. Xiaoyu has so much more to her. She has amazing moves, and she's just generally an all around great character.
They are both so pretty! But Tekken is by far the best game in my opinion, so I'll have to say Ling Xiaoyu ^^ She is prettier and has a lovely personality!

I think the first fighting game ever produced was the Karate Champ way back 1970's as the first a fist to fist fighter though the game was not popular. Then followed Street Fighter in late 1980's and SF2 that came as the first fighting game to had a big hit. then followed MK, VF, Tekken, Soul, DOA, KOF and so on..hihi
@PieceOfArtwork13 thanks for agreeing with me. I know majority of fighting game enthusiast will choose tekken over doa. We really need to show them that they're wrong in some areas saying that DOA is better than Tekken as a whole ( graphics, gameplay, storyline, characters etc.). While in fact, DOA is a pretty game res-assured the gameplay but it is not a great fighter that everyone needs a slice of it.
Heavy price in tekken is not a big deal for me. I think you're just timid to earn money in tekken 6. We know that Xiao is a chinese girl and she's so cute and alike to Chun-li that's why many players likes xiao too coz of her cute and jolly personality. Her costumes are not just an ORDINARY CHINESE TYPE OF OUTFIT. As we all know, that her costumes in Tekken 5 to 6 are so stylish. I think the designers in Namco is not centered in creating many costumes BUT to create a great cool outfits for making it as a trademark for a character. A one or three costumes are enough just to impress the gamers.
costumes = lei fang she has wayyyy more like 16 n doau2 and and 7 in doa4. lei fang is more powerful and damaging including the 3 part throw, and her parries actually give her advantage.. chunli vs xioayu wouldnt make ANY sense. first off they come from two different fighters(2d and 3d) and second, i dont think traditional martial arts blends in well with fireballs and over the top moves. dont get me wrong, tekken n doa overexaggerates as well but not in the same fashion. countering, parrying, juggles, a slew of moves.. this is a much better comparison.

Xiaoyu totally reaches out to girls who feel ugly because their bodies aren't perfect. She shows that you don't need to have long legs, short torsos, tiny waist, perfect, doll-like face, large breasts and curves to be beautiful. She doesn't need revealing clothes to show off her charms and beauty. Beauty is much more than physical appearances.

chunli vs xioayu wouldnt make ANY sense. first off they come from two different fighters(2d and 3d) and second, i dont think traditional martial arts blends in well with fireballs and over the top moves. dont get me wrong, tekken n doa overexaggerates as well but not in the same fashion. countering, parrying, juggles, a slew of moves.. this is a much better comparison.

What matters most to me is moves and personality, not beauty and outfits. I'm gonna go with Xiaoyu, because I think she has a better personality and better moves. I don't really like Lei Fang's moves and I think she lacks personality. My personal opinion.

Xiaoyu totally reaches out to girls who feel ugly because their bodies aren't perfect. She shows that you don't need to have long legs, short torsos, tiny waist, perfect, doll-like face, large breasts and curves to be beautiful. She doesn't need revealing clothes to show off her charms and beauty. Beauty is much more than physical appearances.

Xiaoyu isn't hideous. I've always loved that she's not the typical huge breasted, perfect faced, anorexic stick doll we see everywhere in video games. Most real teen girls would look like Xiaoyu. Don't buy into that stupid fake image into what female beauty should be.

That isn't true. Helena's fighting style is Pi Qua Quan. Xiaoyu's is a mixture of Hakkesho and Hikaken.

Everyone, go to fightersgeneration(DOT)com. Click on the characters section and it shows the official reviews for fighting game characters. It shows a long list of names of fighting game characters in alphabetical order. Click on Lei Fang and Xiaoyu. You can see who got the higher rating.

Seriously? You can't compare Ling to Lei Fang lol... In fact, you can't compare Tekken to DoA, seriously that's just insane...The only reason people hate on DoA is because of the amount of sexual appeal, and I agree, it might be annoying for female gamers, but overall, it's still a way better fighitng simulation than Tekken! And even though I used to use Ling (Before I played DoA) Lei Fang is just too great for Ling...My Opinion.
