I haven't heard of thesae guys before. They have got great potential with some clear punchy sound but seem to lack that little magic something that catapults some to stardom.
what a transformed band from their initial sound/look. they've stayed good at what they do no matter what style they attempt though, like Thrice, but different.
This song was Finger Eleven's masterpiece. The lyrics and the music are incredible, and it shows just what a talented band they're capable of being. It's such a shame that the success of "One Thing" caused them to completely sell out and start writing shitty songs like "Paralyzer". Seriously, their entire last album was God-awful. I'm glad that we'll always have their first three albums though, especially this amazing song!

So far as my life goes, this is the most prolific song F11 ever made. This is right up there with Styx's "Man in the Wilderness," R.E.M.'s "Losing My Religion," and Zak Wylde's "Bridge to Cross." Truly remarkable.
It would be hard to explain, because the message each person might take from the song would be different. I know one of the messages I get, is one of how, even through hardships, two people can stay together if they truely love each other. Might not be what the band originally meant in their lyrics, or what anyone else gets. But it is something I got from it. But even so, its only a small part of it.
james black, the lead guitarist in the band, also does art work (he designed the tattoo on his arm as well). the pictures and things you see in the back ground are his most likly made into the video to look 3d. i have no doubts in my mind that james is inspired by salvador dali.

It would be hard to explain, because the message each person might take from the song would be different. I know one of the messages I get, is one of how, even through hardships, two people can stay together if they truely love each other. Might not be what the band originally meant in their lyrics, or what anyone else gets. But it is something I got from it. But even so, its only a small part of it.

james black, the lead guitarist in the band, also does art work (he designed the tattoo on his arm as well). the pictures and things you see in the back ground are his most likly made into the video to look 3d. i have no doubts in my mind that james is inspired by salvador dali.

I think it's not about heartbreak or wonting to get back with somebody - it's more about wanting ones loneliness back; once you get to know a certain feeling you can't follow, you would like to get this special numb loneliness back - some feelings make it impossible.
