Where are the solutions these career politicians have contributed while in office. Promises are empty. I am not in office and have verifiably solved quite a few national and international problems and gotten both parties to implement them. franklinlacydot

I think Fred Thompson Is a great American and I wish we had more people like him at the Capital, but Mike Huckabee is the right person for the job of President right now and I really think that the FairTax is the only way to save our social security/economy and our country. The Flat Tax is a no go, we Americans want REAL change, that's why Huckabee's doing so well, we've read the Fairtax book, the grassroots have responded well, it's you and the media who have filled the void of pessimism.

I dont understand why everyone says "he's boring", "he's lazy" blah,blah... The point isnt his flashyness or congeniality its polices, which Fred's are all clear cut conservative. He's not a "new" or "old" conservative hes a real conservative.

Fred always gets it right! I can wish for a flashier (slicker?) candidate but can't find another one who I want to listen to all the time.
I can support the other Republicans if they get the nomination, but I'm voting for Fred.

poll numbers aren't an accurate indicator of republicans. they poll people who voted in the last GOP primary..so everyone who voted for bush in '04--which happened to be the lowest turnout of republican voters...ever. So they are mostly incorrect :)

Fred is what we need in government as he will again remind us that our government is for the people BY the people. Therefore we are our own government and therefore responsible, each and every one of us, for its actions.
Those that wish to separate our faith from our government are not those that believe in our way of life, for our way was established on these very principles that some would have removed from the fabric of our flag.
