XD I've been spending the last couple days trying to save Curly without a guide and messing up badly... I just beat the final cave(hidden) a few hours ago and damn was that thing a pain. Your narration is really good and your voice reminds me of Otocon from Metal Gear Solid for some reason...

D= And you didn't show the "That's all folks" sign or walk to the edge and get the message that tells you "If you go any further you'll die."

I wound up cheesing the dropping blocks towards the end of the cave to death with the level three bubbler, since, you can just have it spew bubbles up, and even if you don't have them go off, the static bubbles still damage things that touch em.

Of course, since I didn't level up the missle launcher, I wound up getting a beating from the red demon nine times out of ten, as I was going beserk and mashing the blade into it's face when I had the chance..

I never had the Spur, I kept the Machine GUn and Blade throughout the whole thing..

I love the Spur! It's so fun to use...but, like most 'ultimate weapons', it makes me feel like I'm cheating. :c

Of course, other weapons can do the same. The Machinegun allows you to stay in the air and never get hit by certain bosses...but, I also feel bad for stealing it from Curly. Like trading a slingshot for a minigun...

Why bother leveling up your weapons if there's a treasure trove of experience and missiles right above the door to the final boss fight :|

And also, with booster .8, you can go in, but it's easier. Also it's that with the mimiga mask.

@DeceasedCrab There is an easy way to go over the lava (or poison blood?).

If you just walk to the edge and right as your off it press the jump button you will use the jet pack to go forward with having to jump. It's really easy

You know, if you stand on the other side of that tiny hill during the Red Demon fight, he will never hit you. Makes fighting with the Spur a heckuva lot easier.

When I played through the Last Cave (redux), I hacked the map, so that's probaly why I didn't fight the Red Demon... (I put health and save points in the hardest parts of the level)

By the way, if you dont have the ordanary booster it is actually a totally diferent scenario, so yeah, you can do it without the 2.0.

Its easy. When the professor Booster falls down before you meet Curley in the bolder chamber. Don't speek with him. Look on all the videos from beginning to end.

Yes, actually. Check the books in the shack just before the throne room. The game will drop a hint there if you haven't got the Booster 2.0.

You went through the last set of compressors in a very macho way. I usually charge the spur, take out the first compressor, and charge again for all the others.

You need both the iron band that curly gave you and the booster to get harder version of the last cave. (There is a small easter egg if you do the easy version of the last cave without the booster and with the disguise on).
