Its supposed to be a replacement for a car , or a "second" car to be used for city and small journeys ... who on earth will pay 12k for that let alone the expected 25 or the actual 92k God ... I got a hell of a good car for 5-6000k why would I or anybody else for that matter pay 25k for this ... This should be a "shopping trolley" , a city run around , cheap for any1 to afford and buy , so it should cost UP TO 2000k , not 25 MY GOD

@sbs9026 Mate i said a hell of a good car , not new one ... I buy a new one for 15 grand . 6000$ is 4700Euros . I got a unbeliveable 04-05 with so many thing on it or a more basic 05-06 Ford Focus . I can get you a 06-07 Ford Focus with 8 airbags , automatic double heating and all you want for around 8000 $ . Thats almost a new car , bearly get out of waranty , why the hell would i pay 12 or 25 grand on this thing ? It a modified inclosed bike , no big deal . Where the technology ?

Around 8-10 grand , even this is much i would pay for that yelow tilting one , i forgot the name but i can Youtube search for you , there is some technology , plus the feel you're in a fighter jet but here ? Its just an enclosed bike . I love it but its no big deal . I wanna ( just to raise some $ ) and will make a kinda F1 car for the road , even if only 1 for me . My dad got a workshop , he did built machines like lathe from ground up .

@sbs9026 This is child play comparing to that . He got a hell of a lot of patent of inventions , he is a damn good engineer . This is not a complicated thing , not for 1 minute . If you get a little harder the mechanics i can get why are u so amazed , but otherwise u must get , its no big deal , and why should i pay 12 25 or the ridiculous now anounced 90 grand for one ? With 25k i build u a vehicle u cant belive . I wouldn't be able to sleep if i would have payed 25 or even 12k for it.

@sbs9026 There's so manny things do with 12-25k$.its a huge amount of money.No offence,but this thing wanna be a car replacement:now in accord with that,why would i pay 25k for a bike when i can buy a 5 seat VW,Ford,Audi,BMW etc instead? Im a fan of this kind of vehicle but to be affordable and to make people sell a car for it should be no more then 2-3000$,othervise why not consider a car.I don't wanna argue about this.Read and thing about what i said and then pls reply your thoughts

If i get off my Wr 400 , jump into this monostuff ... on a car seat ... what aaaaaaa... how the hell do i lean ? or i dont know , it just looks weird an unnatural... how is this better then a SM / Streetfighter / Chopper / Sport / Standard bike ? i mean all the reason to get a bike is for the sensation of freedom while riding it ... and what about rolling over ? how many flips does this monothing do untill it stops... it looks pretty cool tho

according to the company Peraves in Winterthur (Switzerland), they are in contact with some investors and manufacturers... although they are not yet planning a mass production, they quadrupled the production to 100-120 vehicles for 2011...

we'll see, how the company will develop in the next years...

I kinda' doubt a Detroit automaker will make the monotracer. They have a hard enough time building small cars. However, I wouldn't put it past some of America's small Motorcycle companies, Like Buell, Roehr, or Fischer, to name a few, to go for it as a volume machine. But more than likely, some large bike makers like Honda, Suzuki, or even KTM or BMW will be happy to ship these about.

@rubiks15 motorcycles don't fair to well in snow,you have 2 small contact patches,verses 4 in a car which makes it so much more stable.But the up side is you will stay warm in this motorcycle.You still might want a car as a backup in the colder parts of the world.

This thing would be great for the city! You couldn't park it in the utility closet like you could with a scooter or a small crotch rocket, but you could definitely fit it in the back yard next to the rear house entrance, to keep it out of sight.

Well, you can't ride the Harley in the winter without freezing your fingers and toes, so it ends up in the garage until spring. You could buzz around in the Monotracer even when it's cold, I suppose. I'd like to ride in one!
