@surfboardhacker Well yeah if you only had the internet and TV as your source you would say there is no "deployed level of ballistic glass". But if you have been in the military and seen glass prototypes like a tri-layered acrylic glass, you would think different. There is a glass that has just been made that can withstand any .50 cal (AP or HOL). It has three layers of acrylic glass and a transparent gel in between to absorb the impact. A AP 50 stands no chance.

Thats fine and dandy...but you aint gonna see any armoured cars rolling around Main St USA that can stop .50 BMG AP rounds which was the point of my original post.

i doubt thats even a 50 cal round nothing in frame to compare size looks more like a 7.62 why no sound is it because id hear the ak being fired !
