I bought this model at Guitar Center about a year ago. It's a great guitar for the money, I ordered a a pick guard from PRS, and did a little modification on it, and installed it. It looks factory, and the finished isn't getting scratched. The factory service dept is top shelf, just like the PRS products, even the one's not made in the U.S.A.
Question, how well do these guitars handle drop tunings with the trem? I need something that won't go out of tune in the middle of a song. It's between this and the Tremonti Se 2011.
are you playing the same tuning all the time? and what kind of effects are you using? and now most important question, what would it cost to ship this guitar to germany?
I recently bought my prs se custom 24 royal blue, what wah was used in this video when he went into solo? I'm contemplating buying the morley mark tremonti wah and I already have a digitech rp250, any advice to get the tone in this video as I am looking to better my tone! Thanks anybody with advice!
Great video showing off a killer guitar! Just bought one for The Wife last week (she's started and has been kicking ass at a MAJOR new job, as a longtime Rush & Porcupine Tree fan has always loved PRS' & took lessons when younger and wanted to restart) and as a semi-professional Bassist with high-end gear it's ASTOUNDING how "lower-midrange" instruments have become. I've talked to PRS owners buying the SEs and only installing locking tuners to have backup guitars 90% close to their Customs.
People are just complaining about this, people, this is just to give you a first impression of how the guitar sounds, obviously it's not perfect, but if you wanna try it, then get out of your mother's house to go to the store and try the fucking guitar.
I love Les Pauls and PRS, such as this one, the fact that it has 24 frets and a tremolo, and the awesome inlays turn me on. But I do prefer Les Pauls, because of the seperate Vol/Tone and the switch is on top, i find it easier, switching is like struming, and most of all, the Les Paul look ;)
@PaybackTyme Yes they are passive, the back pickup is nice and hot and honky and the bridge is smoother are warm. Both together is a great clean slightly strat like tone, so 3 really different and usable sounds. lovely. :)
Little Wing! Thumbs up if you know the song
