I have serious problem. I want to play with my m8 only. Everything is done as in tut. Newest update is 7 1.3 so we got them. We both had to change however Steam_appid.txt file content to 17700. Now we have game lobby available in game. We can join games almost most times. Sometimes we see different games but once we see the same we can join it however both of us prefer to play alone. Problem is we can not join ours games. It says can not join.

@TriggerWojtas Simple. Are you in same LAN or two different networks? Make sure to port forward udp 11155 if using tunngle.

@gamedexterity The problem is ports are forwarded correctly (we play other games trough tunngle) and we are always on the same network. Dunno maybe it's a thing we have both same appid number? We can play with other players but somehow we can not connect each other. There is way to join to someone and wait till he will leave. But we have higher levels and we don't want to go back every time we play. It's annoying.

@TriggerWojtas Same network as in same house? If so, change tunngle port for each PC and make sure its open. Same app id is fine. Or go to a tunngle room like CLONK, and try there.

@DannyBeatz01 I am so sorry to hear that, but I will accept it. The fact of the matter is, when the game was still fresh, the method to join and host was talked about as shown in the video. You got to play through the prologue first, and then you can join someone's game. Alternatively, if you have a valid game in steam, you can invite your steam friends to join your game or join others. Sorry if the video didn't help your cause. Tunngle is just a VPN program to assist with playing. Thats all.

@MrNoobDevil I haven't seen that before, the problem is that the steam app id can change when steam blocks it, so you got to ask the room what the latest steam app id is.

Good job with the tutorial but i still have a problem. Me and my friends are trying to play together however when one of them joins, the other one can't. The first one to join, is able to hower the second one is unable for some reason. Any advice?

Is smart steam patched? This used to work till recently I wanted to play dead island again, but whenever I launched dead island a notice popped up saying i need steam to launch dead island.

The name of the torrent should be "Dead Island-RELOADED" When u download game install it and crack

Then go to the description find update 4 and future updates go there and select #6 and extract it do you're dead island folder Simple right :D

After i installed Tunngle I started having wierd problems with my computer.

@Katastrophy300 I never had this issue. If you want to go use another vpn program, thats fine. But what you are describing is odd, I never had any tunngle slowdowns and I've been using it since July 2009. Best to pose your question at the tunngle forums if you really want to use tunngle.

@0xTheMaster0x LAN Online can be a bit misleading. It is just taking the LAN protocol and putting that online so others can connect to you. Problem is, this game does not have true LAN as steam must be on. Hence, you need a steam app id that is not blocked if using smart steam or greenluma method. Ask the tunnglers for latest app id.

@tutositos you have an out of date patch, and/or the wrong steam_appid. file, come in the busiest room in tunngle and ask someone for a link to update six, i have a link on my desktop that someone gave me, to a forum page with update6 and easy instructions, i had just about every problem you can name trying to get on coop until someone in tunngle gave me the link, now it works perfect, it was well worth the wait and effort.

I have a non-steam copy and the game directory is in my downloads folder. Everything is how it should be just if it was in Program Files directory. However, my game lobby is greyed out, and nothing seems to work. There is nothing in the steam directory about dead island, which I think is okay? I completed the prologue by the way.
