It's interesting the way those shows work. How many winners can you remember from Idol shows in the past? Almost none! Most of their careers die after the show. But one I will never forget is Susan Boyle. She will always be famous and can probably go on making CD's forever if she wants. She truly has a beautiful voice.

Lucky you ! I gotta tell you, coming out of the Edinburgh train station to find myself simultaneously looking at the castle, the two Roman-like museums, the prickly black tower thing, and Calton Hill - when I turned around - was the most surreal moment of my life. I stood there gaping like an idiot for half a minute, wondering if I was hallucinating. I was there only for a week though. I did a few of the morbid tours they have at night. Can't wait to come back.

EzaroWorld - In the end, all Susan missed out on was first place in a talent show.HOWEVER she has won so much more - she won the world!!! She is getting to live her dream and I am sure she realises that as disappointing as the result on BGT was,it was merely a step along the way for her.She is already a huge star and her first CD isn't even released yet.Diversity got the vote on the night(probably from the young vote) and I wish them well. Susan is the REAL winner in the hearts of her many fans.

I think the only reason she didn't win BGT is because people assumed she would win and many voted for the underdog. I'm not saying Diversity is not talented by the way. It all worked out for the best. Susan is adored and Diversity got a lot of worldwide publicity because of her. She and the world are very happy for Diversity.
