where I live there are little towns that was founded back in the early 1800's cant wait tikll I get my metal detector and hit them up but untill I get it I am doing research on all of them I have found several towns that were abandoned an old resort that closed during the depression and several other lil spots to hit but untill I get mine I will have to keep watching the fantiastic videos I hope to post some of my own some day
Yes it was. In fact I thought about not posting the video because of it but I thought it was still worth doing because of the neat finds. In the future I need to remember to put a piece of foam over the microphone.
@keithindiana Thanx for answering my queiry..I live in a town that was founded in 1909..but i cannot get hold of any old maps for refrence..any ideas??
@keithindiana Alright! I never thought of that..my Aunt gave me a Pioneer 202 model MD and I am just trying to get used to it..I'm pretty new to this but, am enjoying it. There is, however, an old High School 2 blocks from my house that was in operation as early as 1919...maybe I'll have some good finds there..Thanx for your advice .I will do this...Ken in TX.
I was GOING TO GO the weekend after it had emptied, and didn't. I guess I should have!!! I even called the Lake Delton PD and got permission. They kind of scarred me though when they said a guy fell up to his neck in mud. -RootMaster

At this lake and another one we found probably 100 coins. 10 or so were silver! Even found a couple of buffalo nickels...
